(Yes, the grumpy CONCORD guy is his cannon name. Deal with it Cool)

We first catch a glimpse of him in the EVE Universe: Origins trailer. Specifically at 2:47, where he is looking at a holoprojector displaying what appears to be, a map of the growth of capsuleer alliances in nullsec. He looks very grumpy about it, very evident by his reaction of slightly lowering his eyebrows and puckering those grumpy lips.

But wait! There's more! In the EVE: Rebicon trailer he makes a very grumpy speech that essentially says "You can make isk over there, but please don't go there."

This guy is not only very grumpy, but he is speaking to capsuleers representing CONCORD and each of the big four factions. Despite his grumpiness, he is clearly a very important figure in the cluster.

But just who the hell is he? I feel like I may have missed something recently. This character is coming up more and more and seems to be a very strong authority figure, so why hasn't he been mentioned even slightly in the EVE lore? Granted that shaved headed girl is coming up often too, but I feel she's just supposed to represent capsuleers in general. But the grumpy CONCORD guy? He's telling us what to do! Surely there is something about him!

Watch_ Fred Fred Frederation_ and stop cryptozoologist! Fight against the brutal genocide of fictional creatures across New Eden! Is that a metaphor? Probably not, but the fru-fru- people will sure love it!

For some reason I think he is one of those three CONCORD leaders in Templar one. The real dickish one that would bring all of CONCORDS power to bear if he could. For the life of me i cant remember his name and i don't have a copy nearby to check.

This thing here looks kind of silly. First CONCORD sanctioned fleet is made to destroy such research stations (and it fails). Then CONCORD representative says:"Don't go there, don't destroy them and don't rob them, and certainly don't bring anything interesting you find there to us".
This newspiece here shows that pirate factions are already working with capsuleer population on that matter, where is the CONCORD answer?

I have a problem with the whole modus operandi of the rubicon expansion as well. The shaved headed girl is foolish to say the least and not welcome in any disciplined fleet, but that's just my personal dislike for the whole cinematic trailer thing that represents our beloved capsules as a full on dogfighting cockpit VR interface.

My gripe is this, if the capsuleers are a great threat to the empires then why to the empires continue to allow the emergence of new capsuleers. The caldari state could just force organisations like the Science and Trade Industry to shutdown if they disobey. In fact the same could be said of all of the NPC capsular spawning organistions in New Eden. It would be different if all capsuleers were born in low/null sec and had to travel to high sec as clearly the empires have less control and authority in these regions, many of which are semi autonomous in anycase.

Hair is best suited for the medieval age, when humans had no proper augmentations to retain the heat needed for the physiological architecture of those times. I have absolutely no problem with her lack of hair. Luddites on the other hand, might.

If that was true human beings would have copious amounts of hair all over their bodies as seemingly we didn't evolve with clothes.

If you mean what I think you mean, it's five leaders and they are also found here:

Altho in the book Tara Rushi is a woman :shrugs:

Irhes and Tatoh wanted to act strongely and quickly against the Templars / their development.
Esoutte and Tashin opposed them.
Tara abstained, thus gave her vote to the Speaker (Irhes).

I would like to know who is this guy as well, so far I have pinpointed my assumptions only to this guy (both based on looks and CONCORD background). Would be nice if actually someone from the official lore team would start to answering questions in this forum section properly again, lately I'm not sure if to laugh at state of lorecare of EVE or to cry in hopelessness (lack of live events, lack of lore themed expansions, etc.).

It's not Odo Korachi.

Korachi works in the field, not as a press officer. The gentleman in question is a press spokesman for the Directive Enforcement Department.

His name however... isn't important. Only the messages he relays are important. Blink

Nameless nobodies do not make announcements to all of new eden. Even the poorest quality news agency would carry his name at the bottom of the screen. You should have the scope run the story, they wouldn't miss details like that. :D

And Odo Korachi is a capsuleer? Is "Worried Guy" not a capsuleer?

Thanks for the info Smile

I think the fuzz about him and why the name is important for some is because of his appearences in two CGI trailers now and in the last one he sounded like a (very) important man. I have to agree with the comment that nameless nobodies indeed should not make such important announcements to all of New Eden.

In any case, I wish he would become a villain of New Eden, he's extremely charismatic and I would love to see some Darth Press Vader Sansha Officer Big smile
