To all my fellow EVE players, I truly and wholeheartedly wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and those you love.

In this game I will shoot at you, I will pod you, I will commit horrible acts of subterfuge on this character and many others.... but in real life, find me any time of the year and I will gladly buy you a pint and share a laugh with you. You all make this game my wonderful escape from the troubles of life, and I look forward to logging in every opportunity I get.

A special thank you to Brave Newbies and those of BRAVE who we have been flying with for the past couple of weeks. We're all nearly broke from tearing through ships (j/k), but you guys have been a riot to fly with and incredibly kind and helpful with all the new pilots we've taken under our wing. I know that many of the trials I recently took in have subbed thanks to your fun and kind members and FC's. Lychton - for someone who is especially busy running a large alliance - it's very cool when my corpies realize that BRAVE's Alliance Leader was the one who patiently answered their noob questions on comms.

On that note, thank you and Merry Christmas to Rote Kapelle, Red Vs. Blue., EVE University, Goons, (grrrr gewns) and all the denizens of Syndicate for bringing good fights and providing content. I hope you haven't been doing anything too nasty with all our corpses we've left everywhere 7o.

And last (but not least), Merry Christmas CCP and all CCP employees. Especially Erlendur, Fozzie, Karkur, Guard and all the others who joke with us on #Tweetfleet. Seriously, we love this game (no matter how often we b***h), and we love you guys for making it great!

I have The Muppet Christmas Carol going on the other screen. Of all the movies, I get sappy when that one plays. ;)

Christmas time is a sad time for me (lost a bunch of pals in Iraq from a combo of IEDs and mortars around this time), but the well wishes are much appreciated.
