Lack of Evelopedia Fiction Portal updates?

Almost two years ago, Amarr had major major updates by the story team, expanding info for the races and bloodlines. Now, what is with the hold up of giving more love for the rest? Gallente and Caldari articles have since received some love, but for example there is almost naught info on Jin-Mei or Achura.

An example: https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Ni-Kunni
Wealth of background fluff for the Ni-Kunni added near christmas in 2011.

Then we have for example the Vherokior article: https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Vherokior
State of the Tribe summary is dated four years back, and obviously bloodline info is sorely lacking compared to the Ni-Kunni one. Same applies to the two bloodlines mentioned above, and actually most primary bloodlines as well - even True Amarrs have less info on them than the Ni-Kunni. Yes, I am jealous. Smile

Years YC113 and YC114 are completely empty. YC112 is half filled.

Fiction portal Credits date last additions to the release of Retribution:

This, in my opinion begs the question, does anyone work on Evelopedia anymore - hell even in the past two years? It's nice that we have had the most news stories since forever this year, but it would be nice to see more lore in the fiction portal. And that it actually would be updated by official sources, because obviously a common user generally cant edit and even shouldn't add their own headcanon into official material.

I've applied several times, only to be told they were not recruiting at the time. I have an open petition to join the team (Team Mercury).... but no joy. Might be time for people to collectively submit petitions to customer service.

There's been a lot of work going on behind the scenes in relation to EVE: Source, which will act as a publicly available prime fiction "bible" and will set the foundations moving forward.

Once that's released early next year, I'm sure things will move forward. But right now a big chunk of time has been spend on making sure that EVE Source is compiled and completed.

I just recalled I wanted to ask, will the EVE Source book be sold only through the usual venues or will it be available from local bookstores? I mean, buying it from sites like fnac.es rather than need to have it ordered from the UK, Germany or the USA.

I understand this, but don't you supposedly have a reasonable volunteer force that does work on Evelopedia? Are you the only person in the whole company that has the lore approval stamp? Or is the silence on the fiction portal intentional so that CCP can sell more books? Or can't some articles be updated before the book comes out, for whatever reason?
Sorry if I sound apprehensive but the near complete silence for instance on the end of year review articles for the past two years is a bit discouraging to see.

Not to be a complete Negatron, I do appreciate the story teams work, everyone in it, and cant wait for EVE: Source. It is why I want to see more of it, because I love it. Should anyone belonging to Mercury or the Devs in the story department read this during the holidays, I'd like to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
