Agression from guristas

I have a noob questione: why when guristas attack me during mining asteroids i see a message
"Agression countdown: X minutes"
and tooltip speak about "your crime"?

I think i get an attack and crime is not mine

Belt NPCs are weird like that, just ignore it so long as when you're mousing over it, it's just a pirate corp and another another player lol

You disturbed the NPC pirates and they consider that a crime? Lol

Maybe the tooltip could be better. Aggression timer against NPC pirates means nothing unless you happen to be in solarsystem owned by them. And all those areas are outside highsec, so in highsec that has no meaning.

Aggression counters happen if you attack or get attacked, no more. It's not about crime or who started it, you got attacked by guristas thus you have a timer against them, simple as. As long as you're aggressed to an NPC faction (not a player or player corp) you can just ignore it, there is a situation where it would matter but that's not an issue for the vast majority of players.

So in short; forget about it.
