Where do I put the datacores and decryptor? I have the bpc ready to go and a slot open but despite having them in the corp hangar it doesn't register that I own the datacore/decrpt. WTF

They must both be in the same division of the pos array as the blueprint.

thanks. I wish they made this a bit clearer.

Nothing in Eve industry is made clear. It's all "easy when you know how".

If you're inventing using a POS line then:

The data cores, decryptor (optional), data interface and meta item (optional) must be in the correct corp hanger of the lab you are doing the invention with
The BPC can be in the station, in the correct corp hanger (matching the one you used in the POS), you need 'Scientific Networking' trained to do this
The output will be into th corp hanger of the lab in the POS

Do you realize how complicated the code would be to be able to have all manufacturing items for one job randomly scattered across random hangar divisions?

Get real. Obvious is obvious.

I'm not usually mean, but this is true whining.

Pretty easy actually from a coding point of view. Complicated for the user, obviously.

How do you know he wasn't referring to the amazing feature whereby the decryptors are not detected no matter where they are?

It seems to be more prevalent in RE'ing but I've experienced it multiple times with invention as well and it's only fixed after 38 re-docks/re-logs.

thats bug, and u dont need to relog, just wait few minutes, and they will appear in menu to choose from. I think 4 minutes is time frame.

I think this is obvious only in retrospect. Once you understand how it works. Getting over that hump in the beginning is easy for some and hard for others.
