Blueprint itemID as returned by Industry Info vs Asset List

I've been using the API to get and store asset information. I've run into an issue though when I attempt to get and store different blueprint information.

When doing an industry job call, I see that I get "installedItemID" for the installed blueprint. Is this the same itemID as returned by a Character Asset call?

On the Asset List page, it says that the itemID is only unique for a particular call of the API. If this is true, is there any way to correlate the Industry Job with an actual asset? I'd like to use this to store the ME/PE values of a blueprint asset.

As far as i understand it there is no other way to get ME/PE values from a BPO/BPC, is this also true?

Yep.

Yep. Dunno if/how often itemIDs actually get re-used, but if at all I would assume only the IDs of items which no longer exist.

Yep, at least in the API. There's this other nice ingame feature to export ME/PE levels though: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=255882&find=unread
