Skill idea: Limited interchangeability between manufacturing and research slots.

I don't think that this skill fills a vital gameplay niche that is sorely needed, but I simply like the idea as an expansion on industry, and of the various feature ideas I've gotten, this is the least game-breaking. To clarify, each level in the skill would allow a research and manufacturing slot to be interchangeable. If you have maxed out your manufacturing slots, for instance, you can keep doing more manufacturing jobs, but they would start to take up your research slots. So if you had the skill to level 2, and just the prereqs to level 5(that is, 6 manufacturing and 6 research slots each), you could do up to 8 manufacturing jobs, using two of your research slots, with 4 left over for research.

The reason the skill should be rank higher than 8 is to make it more desirable to get Advanced Mass Production and Advanced Laboratory Operations. This skill isn't meant to be an easy way to get both manufacturing and research slots.

I like the concept. Definitely worth something looking into.

This concept sounds really good. Would definitely make industry more profitable.
