People who live in 0.0, think themselves the pinnacle of cool guy and tell highseccers to HTFU.

...But are scared to death of AFK cloakers and every bit as risk averse as the next pirate.

You're assuming everyone living in nullsec is a renter carebear.

I am the Zodiac, I am the stars, You are the sorceress, my priestess of Mars, Queen of the night, swathed in satin black, Your ivory flesh upon my torture rack.

Irony is used primarily for talking to servants. An educated person of means, trapped in a conversation with a dense and unrefined underling may make a clipped and meaningful remark that is a means of relieving the tension associated with such a dreary exchange.
After starving children watching an approaching aircraft were seen to be visibly torn between racing to grab possible relief packages at the risk of them turning out to be cluster bombs, it was agreed that the age of irony was over forever.
The word is now only used by people who thought Alanis Morissette actually used a single example of irony in her song Ironic, or internetuals who think the term denotes a contradiction of some kind possibly related to cognitive dissonance.

While a generalisation like this is just plain bad, just remember this for the next time someone whines about an AFK Cloaker: Miners have to go out & mine each day, knowing that anyone in local can be a person or a group of persons just waiting to gank them. Every moment, every day, every system. Think about it next time when someone whines about AFK Cloaking.
The Miner has more balls then the whiner complaining about AFK Cloaking.

Before I get attacked, I'm talking about the whiners here, not the rest of null.

I do my PVE (at least until I get sick of this form) in hostile space with enemies in local.
So idk what you're talking about.

The real irony is that it's mostly renter types who complain about afk cloakers. You know renters, the people who can't take their own space so they rent because otherwise they be in high sec whining about gankers.....

Confirmed, you tick a box at the start of character creation that says "What Security Level do you intend to live in forever"

Aware of the possible consequences brought by a cloaky camper is not the same as "scared to death".

You sound mad. Are you fed up of all the mining ships hiding in a POS/station every time you log on? Not getting much action? You poor baby. Try roams instead.
