Hello, New Eden!

For the sake of Live Events, I am organizing another one: a snowball fight!

In the spirit of the holidays, for the sake of Live Events (or in-game gatherings, regardless of how you address it), I'm hosting a player gathering during which pilots can strap Festival Launchers to their ships and launch snowballs and fireworks at each other.

Snowball Fight Details:
Luminaire VII - Moon 6 - Federation Navy Assembly Plant (the same place where Federation Day's celebration was held)
22-DEC-13
EVE Time 2200

* DJ Tranze from New Eden Radio (http://www.newedenradio.com/) will be playing Christmas music, and also holding a lottery drawing throughout the evening, worth over 13 billion in prizes, including PLEX, capital ships, etc. Simply send DJ Tranze 5 million ISK with "lotto" as the reason to buy a ticket.

* Lightshows will be held (similar to the manner in which EVE Radio does on occasion)
-prizes have been devised based on discussions about this event: prizes include PLEX, a Stratios, and other comical gifts
-to participate, bring devices that emanate light: lasers, remote-repairs, cap transfers, target spectrum breakers, and yeah, you'll need drones

* "Secret Santa" style of gift exchanges between participants will be held (provided that participants bring gifts to exchange with each other)
-items worth under $200 million ISK are encouraged, to be contracted to me at Luminaire VII during the event to make the exchange with other participants: everyone who gives a gift gets a gift

P.S.: I'd love it if CCP would put up a Christmas tree somewhere...Sega did it for Phantasy Star Universe 2, other companies are doing it, too. Might be cool to see something.

It's official; it's a Christmas party!

I am proud to announce that members of the Live Events channel have donated $301,000,000 to buy items and prizes for the snowball fight!

We have also come up with a list of obtainable goods to award as prizes.

So here I am, having tons of snowballs in amarr... I'll see if I can get them all transported to luminaire! Think I could hand out some snowballs as well, as I don't think I'll be shooting away 100.550 snowballs myself... c: So come even if you don't have snowballs yourself! :D

Also if someone has fireworks leftover, I'd gladly trade some for snowballs!

EDIT: Thanks to a VERY pretty donation from Boadicea Wales, there are more snowballs!
Not only that, but the day after christmas (26th) There will be a PARTEH on jita undock! Fireworks, lazerz, snowballs, and even remote reps are very welcome c: Happy Holidays!

Awesome time being able to shoot at CCP Falcon and CCP Logibro. New Eden Radio providing the soundtrack and the launchers providing the light show with CCP Dancing in the spotlight. Thanks to all who helped to organize this.

What if New Eden was a virtual prison and we're convicts in a prison pod somehwere?

This party was a massive success!

I want to thank everyone who donated, Live Events chat for contributing ideas, DJ Tranze for putting on an awesome music show and lottery, and everyone who came out to the party!

I want to give a HUGE thanks to CCP Falcon and Logibro!

I was really surprised to have you gentlemen grace us with your presence!


The Secret Santa was also a great success! 16 people donated a myriad of gifts, ranging from fully-fit ships like Daredevils and Vexors to A-type technology, thousands of snowballs, an Interbus Catalyst, and other awesome technology!

Lightshows were equally entertaining! My first Stratios, a PLEX, AUR shirts, and the Lonely on Christmas package went up as prizes!
* The Lonely on Christmas Package was a 15 million ISK prostitute, 1,000 units of Synthetic Oil, an X-Rated Holoreel, and a 6-pack of Spirits!

I'm proud of everyone who came all the way out to Luminaire to join us!

Let's do it again sometime! Time to keep this party going in Dodixie with DJ Daggaroth!
