Where were you 6 months into Eve?

I was running around with my first character in a Coercer ratting asteroid belts. Some guys started taking me on missions so i would salvage in a hurricane and that was when the big bucks started coming in.

I still remember training up my learning skills back then to max. So after getting the 11m SP from the learning skill nerf, i managed to clean up the character somewhat, but it would never be a focused toon. So i sold him and began again. much much wiser.

Training Learning skills to 5 and also making "15km past gate bookmarks" for my corpmates in return for cruisers and battlecruiser hulls :)

Good times!

6 months in I was fighting to keep Delve out of the grubby little mitts of the CA.... having fleet battles of epic proportions with a maximum of what - 3500 people online at the same time?

A year and a half after that I was flying with M.Corp and kicking RA butt in Cache... go forward a few more years and we're still fighting RA and others whilst capturing and keeping Tenerifis safe for our brand new alliance LV.

Years after that turned to merc'ing and killing alliances - remember me Terran Alliance and B Plague!?

Now? Just returned after a looong break and wondering if anyone out there even knows who I am.

Let's see here...

6 months in I was in a cute little corp called Operative Anonymous, or OSA. We had been in The Castle Alliance, a highsec alliance who was "friends" with Republic alliance, an NRDS group based in Great Wildlands. I was a director of OSA, no idea quite why, and we were trying to get back into a real alliance.

I'm still three months away, but by then I'll have around two thirds of all my Int/Mem, Mem/Int, and Int/Per skills at levels 4 and 5. Nothing but running missions, mining, hauling, and learning to trade (which I actually look forward to).

Then comes the real fun. After this remap I'll do another, but it will be six months of Per/Wil and Wil/Per :D

If I ever saw CCP Falcon's character in real life I think I'd politely ask him to kick my ass just so I could brag about it.

6 months into EVE I had done some missioning, but liked trading and mining more. I think that about 6 months in the corp / alliance we were in experienced a Safari, and it disbanded not much later.

In 6 months I would like to have all ships I fly on Mastery V, because I can.

6 months into EVE I had recently left the first player corp that I actually participated with and made friends in. I had also just figured out that incursions were a really good source of isk (this was before they were nerfed).
Then about 3 months later I joined a nullsec corp and (apart from a brief break) I'm still with them almost two years later.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

I was in Rens with a corp of RL friends. Mining to build a Raven, because in 2004, Ravens were the schit.

Some alliance based in Detorid. Ratting for 5 million ticks :cripes: and then going into lowsec for "fun" occasionally.

In my first six months I was mining out in Aydoteaux with friends.

Within 6 months I hope to be in npc nullsec with my drone skillplan mostly done.

About 6 months in... Mostly running L4's and testing things on SiSi to help document game info - when RL wasn't keeping me busy.

One of the great things about EVE is when you get busy in the real world, you can step back a bit, just working the queue as necessary, and not lose ground/be left behind.

Six months in... well, I was roped into playing this game by my husband. They needed an industry person.. because they all refused to train anything that did not relate directly to combat. I had worked through the tutorals and earned enough for a bestower.. which I used to haul for an NPC corp--mate who had worked up to a covertor. We made good money helping each other ....I saved as much as I could. but duty called and I had to move.. and move and move. 'til finally after 6 months, we moved to null sec in the newly created drone region of deep space. We had worked our butts off to build up and build one of the first outposts in the area. 4 days after the outpost completion we were full on attacked by three alliances who teamed to dislodge us and take our new outpost.

It was an experiance I never forgot... friendships and grudges which I hold to this day.

Just out of curiosity what were people doing after 6 months playing EVE (assuming you can remember)

And where do you think you'll be in 6 months now?

Oh I remember it well, I was in Khafis going for that highsec kernite with Kaalakiota. Man I wish I didn't train any mining skills..... bleh. Then I met a lowsec dweller who let me into his corp, then shortly dissapeared leaving me as director. I got sick of refueling the POS which was making BPC of a freighter. I decided that buying BPC off market was cheaper then running a lowsec POS. So, I took the POS down and never looked back.

Most likely in the next six months I will continue to train blasters and rails plus sentry drones. You know so I can help contribute to the economy.

Every day in every way I improve my skills and get better.

I was still with my first corp, Sephray Industries, living in a Class 3 wormhole full-time. I'd just been promoted to Director, but was still completely clueless about this game Lol

Things shift and change rapidly in New Eden, so I won't even begin to guess what I'll be doing six months from now. I'll likely still be completely clueless, though... Blink

I was in Essence, mining Omber (mmm mmm mmm Isogen at 120 isk/unit) in the Droselory system. I already had a second account to haul for myself, and I was well on the way to being a care-bear.
