Not sure where to post this--having an issue with steam launcher

So as many other's did, I got wind of this Steam flash sale for EVE. I purchased an account via steam, but here's the issue: I cannot MAKE the account. I followed the directions on the Steam support iste (let the launcher patch, close launcher, relaunch) but upon relaunch, when I SHOULD get a prompt to put in my email to link the account to (instead of the typical username/password fields) I just get the usual username/password fields. So I'm totally unable to make my new account.


CCP, this makes Kito a sad lump of sad. Please fix.

Is anyone else is having/has had this issue, and if you have, did you manage to resolve it? Any help would be appreciated.
