Universe data migration test on Duality

1) The "search" function in People & Places appears to be completely broken. No results are returned no matter what I enter (I tested "EVE University", "EZA", "EZA-", "EZA-FM", as well as "CCP" and "Jita" for good measure. I tested all of these in both capitalized and all-lowercase versions as well as using both "Partial Terms" and "Exact Terms".) By extension, "auto link" functionality is also broken. Interestingly, selecting a medical facility works properly, so system names are loaded (not indexed? just guessing).

2) The "Show info" dialog on solar systems, constellations and regions does not show the bottom tabbed display (Description, Adjacent Solar Systems, Orbital Bodies etc).

3) The "Security penalty" slider on the autopilot appears to do nothing. The route is not changed whatsoever between 1 and 100 penalty. (The route plotted was from Libold to EZA-FM using "Less secure" settings.)

OK, I used the occasion to test a new Curse-fit.

While flying between Hek and Bei I experienced around 31% TiDi. I guess this is not normal since there are only about a dozen people online on Duality last time I checked.

Attempting to self-destruct my capsule throws an exception.

Attempting to self-destruct my capsule again seems to work properly. It's possible that I was still on session change on my first attempt?

EDIT: Also, webbing a deployed bubble produces an enormously large web animation. Not sure if this is already the case on TQ/SiSi, but I figured I might as well point it out.

EDIT2: This exception was thrown when I attempted to set destination to a W-space system using a bookmark.

EDIT3: 'Show info' on cynos doesn't work either (no tabbed part of the window is shown). Exception being thrown.

Cruise Missiles don't reach the target

I am firing upon a Mobilke Small Warp Disruptor - and the Missile Animation dies out long before hitting it.

I am in 15W-GC and firing Nova Fury Cruise Missile against a Mobile Small Warp Disruptor I . The missiles do damage - but the animation ends like missiles that run out of fuel about 20km away of the bubble Screenshot attached to ingame bug report.

By the way:
The 2 Million Skillpoints - will we get them on duality or at tranquility? ;-)

Assets do not recalculate Jumps with avoidance

Duality - EVE-FEATURE-FSD-UNIVERSE - 8.33.672487

When you set your course to a destination and avoid some star systems, the asset list does not update the range towards these in the asset list to represent your avoided systems.

Set a course to location x where you have stuff.
Avoid some systems on the course and see that your autopilot range gets bigger.
Open the Assets again - and there the Distance has not updated (on live it does).

Solar System and Orbital Bodies Info Window Disfunctional

Duality - EVE-FEATURE-FSD-UNIVERSE - 8.33.672487

When I open the Solar System Information or the Orbital Bodies window I get some strange infos - where there should be more.


Open E-OGL4 or E-OGL4 X - Asteroid Belt 14 (ingame browser links have been added here inside the bug report)
Compare the window to TRanquility. There should be much more information in here.

Courier Contract - Ship to can not be entered


Duality - EVE-FEATURE-FSD-UNIVERSE - 8.33.672487

Hi,

When Ih try to create a new Courier Contract I can not enter anything into "Ship to". It always gives the answer
No Station can be found with "jita" in the beginning of its name.

Sadly I can not screenshot the errror message.

It does not accept any valid entries at all.

Open the Contract menu
Create a Courier contract of any given item
On step 3/4 enter Jita into Ship To.
Error Message appears

Just curious - do you mean 20k from the actual generator (the "box") or 20k from the bubble itself? From what I've noticed, it appears that the game treats the new Rubicon bubbles as part of the model (you can't zoom in on the "box" when you "look at", also the web animation "bug" I reported earlier. This would explain the issue.

They seem to detonate about 20km away of the outer edges of the bubble.

I tried to shoot at other things at the same range - an outpost in this case - and here the missiles hit (although they do not seem to detonate at all)

This is something we are taking into account and time has already gone into making sure we will continue to make this data available for third party developers. However I cant go into to much detail at this time as I'm not directly involved in that plan. Expect more information on this in the new year.

To all of the folks who had login issues, this was due to the server automatically rebooting in VIP mode after its downtime. This has been changed now so this problem should not appear again.

And to everyone who had issues with auto-linking and any searching of any kind, this is due to some backend systems being offline on Duality. We are working to get these fixed but for the time being expect a lot of the normal searches to come up blank.

And finally to all those who have entered bug reports so far, or given feedback in this thread, thanks very much! Keep up the great work!

Good to hear... I'm sure plenty of developers will be eager to hear more details, but it's a relief for now just to know that it's accounted for.

Account being disabled on duality, can anyone actually reactivate accounts on there so we can help with the testing? my ac works on singularity, tq but not duality. o-o

It seems Duality uses a DB from way earlier, as my toon on Duality lacks many skills he has on TQ, plus the skills he had learned by the time the TQ DB was mirrored for Singularity in October. If your toon was made after late September or so, then there is probably no information of him on Duality.

In other news. I got some exceptions in the Command Prompt that ran with Duality, and I had a peculiar visual error when click dragging the flattened map to look around.

Note: I use a large 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution so be warned of large size.

Useless Note: I just upgraded my Video Card to a GTX 650 Ti, so I get to run EVE with EVERYTHING MAXED OUT. No issues besides occasional lag, but that's due to my own bottle-necking kinks I'm trying to work out still.

my acc was made in 09, but my comp blew around march,n i just got a new one around october, n ive been active since then :l wish they would reactivate accs for duality or mirror duality soon so we can play
