they would die horribly to supercaps.

Surely they could fork up the isk and minerals to build supers.... it would require a huge effort....but would be interesting.

This isn't something the community would get behind.

I doubt it would be fun either.

I've often thought the same. The only way to do it w/o supers is to harass using null exits. Which really we would only then be a thorn in their side.

When it comes down to it, having null coalition numbers would do in all of wspace if we tried to go on the offensive. I'm satisfied keeping them out of WSpace.

If you personally wanna stick it to null in their own space. Setup and cloaked afk alt in a ratting system. I listened to a podcast where the null guy bitched literally for an hour and a half about how a cloaked afker makes all of them scared.

Doubtful - most of the high end WH corps have a much higher than normal ratio of capable capital pilots and could field slowcat fleets in combination that would make the current N3 efforts look small - to quote the mittani:

Quote:
As an aside, slowcat fleets are also completely immune to Supercarriers, as they simply refit their highslots to smartbombs and remove the incoming fighterbombers. Did I forget to mention that carriers can, of course, refit off one another, meaning that the combat versatility of the slowcat allows them to change their fits to match whatever situation they abruptly encounter? It takes only 81 cycles of a thermal smartbomb to destroy a fighter-bomber.

Many people in wormhole space came here as they were bored of structure grinding and so on so doubt there would be much interest in doing it but if it did happen I wouldn't be betting on nullsec knowing what I do ;)

A fair amount of "former" wormhole corps are already doing that...

there's a reason we're in WHs and not ns...
and a big part of that for many is no supers.

Building supercaps requires space to build them in. And that space would have to be defended for months and months. Which requires supercaps to take and defend.

are mass limits of WH's not a significant problem? Or are you assuming this WH coalition would abandon their home holes indefinitely?

You guys givr too much to supercaps. Dread fleet could wipe the floor with few supercaps for fraction of the cost. With full fleet of alpha nags you can even alpha supercaps. I think that new era of fleet combat is starting. One step after slowcats. So wormhole corps might probably put up a big dread fleets right now while CFC is just starting training program because in wormhole you just need dreads.

I don't think its a matter of giving too much to a super but more to the number that null can put on grid. You have to consider titans as well...

If you were going to take the fight to nullsec in that way people wouldn't be staging out of their wormhole system - neither would the be leaving their home wh - most C5/6 corps have a good percentage of multi character players who could put 1 or more chars into a deployment and keep the rest in their home wh.

Titans would be much more my worry, tho personally I wouldn't be throwing dreads at PL's aeon (incase of confusion I'm not mixing them up with titans) fleet heh even with the kind of dread numbers wh entities could throw at it.

Day 1.

The combined forces of w-space descent on 5P-AIP like a biblical plague of locusts. The forces of w-space (from hereon known as The W-space Axis of United Wormhole Alliances and Corporations or TW-S.A.UW.AC for short) deploys Sovereignty Blockade Units on all the gates in the 5P-AIP system. The TW-S.A.UW.AC also deploys a tons of bubbles on each gate, as well as randomly dropping various other crap such as Mobile Depots and Cynosaural Jammers all over the system. I mean seriously guys, could have been a little bit better organized we need to look presentable here.

Anyways, the Bloackade is in full effect and the system has around 1400 w-space pilots and a single AFK null sec dweller in local, needless to say TW-S.A.UW.AC achieved complete surpise. No.One.Has.Seen.This.Coming. Even some of the TW-S.A.UW.AC members are in complete disbelief that they are here.... in null sec... in Feythabolis.... shooting structures. The call is made and the entirety of TW-S.A.UW.AC is now shooting the outpost in the system.

A brave soul finally ventures onto the EVElopedia, the encyclopedia of ancient EvE lore, lore so ancient that you can still spot articles from the alpha stage of the MMO. That brave soul finds out that the Outposts have dual reinforcement timers, one for shield and one for armor, WTF Are you for real brave soul or are you trolling me because I tell you that shooting this crappy looking station is not fun and now you tell me I will need to come back for NOT ONE but two reinforcement timers and each time I will have to scan and roll a decent chain in order to make it to this foresaken piece of null sec at the back end of nowhere and why do we have to take SOV here anyway I killed a rat a minute ago and it only gave me a few million in isk I can get billions running escalation sites back home or using a paladin to clear sites in my static why did I ever join this stupid W-Space Axis of United Wormhole Alliance and Corporations anyway?

Apart from what Gnaw write it would also involve having perma blues. Most if us can't agree to not shoot at each other longer than 3 days.

Once we move myself and a few others are going on a Holey Crusade in Bobs name to remove the farmers of low class WSpace. Or at the very least cause enough damage to appease Bob.
