Frankly, I didn't knew that it was so cheap, nor that Blizzard was so desperate to sell it. Shocked

Also are selling the panda expansion for 10 € (from 34.99), a discount above 70%, even more despair can be seen here.

Free to play is clearly looming on the horizon...

I can't but wonder how far is EVE from those dire waters.

And in case you wonder why do i know that WoW is on offer, they're announcing it on The Mittani.com Lol

Probably true. Maybe I would had played it if it had been available 20 years ago, but my steps never have taken me that way.

In a way, it is sad to see a giant bend its knees. Specially because "our" game goes next in the row.

Yeah i upgraded from failclysm to world of pandacraft the otherday, makes for a nice break from eve when i don't want to think too much.

meh, €15 a month is too much for it. as been said, it was fun, once, first expansion was fun, game was still challenging then, 2nd was allready getting easier but still somewhat challenging, but got easier and easier till you could play with 3 buttuns -_-

Well CCP is kinda odd, they just fired almost all of WOD´s staff some days ago (in Xmas eve).

Honestly they should bring DUST to PC, I don´t see them getting into the console population segment market with DUST anyway, and I know DUST was/is their attempt to grab another population segment and they dont want to divide the player base by bringing it to PC, but really, DUST is turning into that.

I don´t think EVE will die (if ever), but I really think CCP needs something new to revitalize it and a p2win cash store here will only alienate the hardcore playerbase so I only see it happening if they are just extremely desperate.

I once installed a new graphics driver that had put a URL shortcut to a WoW trial account sign up page on my desktop.

I had a short panic attack wondering if I had done something in my sleep I didn't remember.

I am happy to pay for eve, and if they did a proper xpac for it (with more space or a graphics overhaul, and a few other major changes along with, lots of minor changes.) I would happily pay for it. CCP needs to do something to bring in newer players though, and i dont know what that is :/

If you look closely at the special holiday acceptance icons it does say 'item purchased from online store' or 'web store' or something like that Ugh

I liked WoW PvP more than I like EVE PvP, but I like EVE Online overall more than I ever liked WoW.

WoW is a game that was fun during it's time and, if taken to "that level", can be quite challenging - or at least, used to be.
