Yeah, all those single target doomsdays are going to cause enormous node stress. Roll

Or perhaps nodes are like Wormholes, with a mass limit before they crash....derp?

Titans don't cause much node stress anymore. Probably about as much as a frigate.

Bigger and shinier does not equate into node stress. Massive amounts of drone recall spam, and pilots logging in/out en masse....does

Pilots WEREN'T logging in and out......NOR were we spamming drones I was in the Domi fleet, people were getting yelled at for leaving drones, there was some discussion about the wisdom of picking up drone and changing from gardes to bouncers.

1) No one was logging in and out
2) No one was order to spam drone in and out (half of us couldn't launch or assign drones after the titans came in anyway)
3) Things were slow but stable till the titans came in, my fleet was off killing an archon that panic warped to a planet, during which we stopped to merge the two domi fleets into one ....because if we died we weren't supposed to be coming back with domis we were to come back with either FYF or Dictor, dictors first.

CFC was getting drone ships out of there by attrition in favor of things that were more useful, MOST of the time there was sitting with the dreads and FYF killing off maurading interceptors.

Now what caused the crash who know, they startbursted the archon blop and dropped the titans in the middle of it to keep the titans from bouncing to who knows where, did 40 titans bouncing off of each other and 300 archons kill the server while trying to figure out the bounce calculations? was it the weight of 700 drone ships all dropping 5 to 12 drone a piece and the mini frigate and interdictor war that was happening in the between the capital fight and everything else?

I don't know and so far as it goes I haven't seen anything from CCP, I can tell you there were NO fleet orders given that were beyond normal tactical fleet commands other than alphaing local, which doesn't matter chat services are split out anyway.
