Hacked Account - Petition Location?

Alright so an account of mine got Hacked. I currently have the petition in the Lost Accounts and Passwords. Its been 3 days. Is this the right location for the petition? I thought there was a hacked category that took immediate priority or something?

Okay thank you, what happened to the "Hacked" section? And someone really should write up a step by step for what petition area that needs to be filed out. The FAQ says nothing :O

I really don't mean to pester but still no response, the petition was filed last Monday, seriously is there a better way to file this sort of petition?

Technically most people don't get hacked. They give their acct to someone else through sheer stupidity.

It can take a while for CCP to get it sorted, but you will eventually get it back. And hopefully have learned a lesson about internet security.

these things do require some investigation, although if would have expected a response in your email account by now at least.

Generally "hacked" translates to:

"I gave out my login to friends/family and now they fcked me over"
"I was drunk or emo, did something dumb but don't want to own up to it"
"I went to an RMT site, bought isk and got raped"

So no, generally they're not in a hurry to respond to hacked petitions, partially because it's always your own dumb fault and mostly because it takes a lot of effort for them to backtrack what really happened.

Yes its my own dumb fault. I understand that.

However it does not leave an excuse for taking a week and a half to even get a response to say they are looking into it. I really couldn't care less about my internet stuff at this point. Its only a game. But this customer service has me yelling "What the ****?!" at my email every morning. Dont switch the conversation. Trolls can go die in a hole.

Just be patient. As long as you got legitimately hacked they will fix it.

All petitions seem to be taking forever the last month or so.



I think they must have moved most of the support staff onto making Fedo's temporarily.

The funny thing is whenever I or another person from this prestigious alliance makes a petition, it's answered in a couple of hours. Must be some sort of anti-goon bias, grr.

lol, well they finally responded. But seriously what gives? Why is everything taking so long now a days? It took a week and half to reply to a petition type that is supposed to take immediate priority(From what I've been told from GMs/ISD before hand). I mean, they even had a "Hacked" Petition section that took IMMEDIATE priority over these things.

The quickest petition time I've ever had responded too were in-game issues, (bugged mission, GM completed it in 5 minutes). But I have had some that take up to 2-3 weeks to even get responded too, yet alone close.
