On that note CCP should actually increase the negatives associated with hiding out in NPC corps, or running to them as a war avoidance mechanism...

- Increase NPC corp tax rates to 50% as a good start. You can hide in there forever mr. carebear, but it sure will cost you -- ideally much more than it would to fit a series of T1 frigates and losing them repeatedly learning how to pew under a dec instead...

- Put people leaving a corp that is under wardec into a one week stasis period before they can actually leave.

Do these things for fairness, to keep EvE what it should be and improve it.

Above all, do it for the children.

Maybe should start a campaign. Put videos and pictures of cute Kittens in the internet and threaten to kill one every time someone jumps from a corp in war.

50% would be funny, 25% would be fair. So how about 35%?

Why is this game so F***ing elitist? It's so stupid that I cannot exclude myself from a war decc. Makes me so angry it makes my experience with Eve a total piece of S***. Millions lost because I can't just be left the hell alone, yet still have some sense of community and guys to run PvE. As a new player I can not get ahead because every time I join a corp, some ass hole f***ing thinks it's funny to blow my s*** up in a stupid ass war. Seriously. Rant over.

Go ahead and raise the tax to 50%. I like being war dec immune.

Without stuff being blown up, and without people blowing stuff up, the demand for new hardware would plummet, and the economy would grind to a halt.

While it sucks to lose stuff, that's life in New Eden due to the hypercapitalistic, conflict fueled society that we all live in.

It'll be alright. There are plenty of corps and alliances that never seen war decs in years. Just join one of those.

Its better for these people if the game pushed them into real corps.

I would increase NPC tax rate a LOT but based on character age. Example. Your tax start at 0 and increase by 10% per month. Up to something like 50%.

When you create a corp, the startign minimal tax (Taht does nto go to the corp wallet) be around 25%. And htat tax reduced by 1% per member in the corp.

Not really. People play the game certain ways because that is the gameplay that appeals to them. This idea that you can force people to play differently and they're going to be happier for it is pretty half baked and ridiculous in a ame like EVE that presents you with near infinite ways to play when you're logged in.

I mean, you are literally saying "this game has infinite approaches to gameplay and having been presented with this wealth of options people have chosen wrongly and I want to force them to play differently because they will have more fun!". That's ridiculous.

TL;DR - maybe you should take up mining mate, you'd be happier.

One upon a time we shared a system with them and this isn't surprising to see coming from one of their members. They're a PVP focused group but they'd also recruit people they ganked of they showed any interest in PVP regardless of their skill level or experience. If I were to guess this is one of those newer recruits who hasn't yet wrapped his head around "cold harsh universe" an all that.

Better to stay in the rookie corp for a while, but to late for that.

If your corp is wardeced and they have no intention of grouping up and fighting back in some way, then it's probably time to leave.

Check out eve university or brave newbies for corps. Or go back to the npc corp for a while.

4 pages... well done.

I'm looking at OP corp history and kill board and can't for the life of me think about what this dude has been doing for the last 8 months. Ship spinning? No pvp, only a 0.9 sec status so not ratting. Trade and industry? Seems fishy to me.

I don't think an April 2013 character is too young to be in a BS. Fit was not the worst I've seen. But not great either. No rigs and derping around during a war-dec. Hmm... insurance fraud perhaps?

I hope its something like Yorkshire Gold Rwandan Tea or twinnings breakfast tea. Not any of these mamby pamby fruit teas. Hard in your face strong tea and YOU BETTER BE USING A TEA POT (omfg domi tea pot). Make sure the pot is warmed first though as this could have horrible effects on your brew Lol.

I think Ive read terms such as "the blood lust of PvPers" and similar stuff at least a dozen times today

Don't carebears have a lust to keep their insides on the inside?
