What's the deal with including character names in a post? No killmail. No pod or post. ... just mentioning, "Oh uh, yeah, so CCP Spitfire was there too!" ... or something like that. I ask because another player said I should stop posting character names etc etc ... I'm a space jerk but manners always count. Thanks.

Read the rules, post within those parameters or don't, if they see a post out of the parameters they may or may not edit it. If you do it too much they may or may not ban you. They have been pretty lax around here lately TBH. They really don't like it when you use KMs to troll the victim or his group and chat can only be posted in the pirate thread but the names need to be removed.

Yes. Except, what about using character's names when telling a story about what happened in space, without using killmails or chatlogs?
