Somewhat agree - Its your own fault if you don't watch your six and get owned.

I do however think the WarDec mech is dumb. It is pointless in Null & Low, it's not a catalyst for PvP in High and does not create content outside of a bunch is chicken-s#!t wardeckers that pick on easy targets and run away when something with teeth shows up.

But you still have no excuse for getting owned...

Run away? Stop beign arrogant and thinking you know what we do. We almost always fight outnumbered. We will only avoid the combat if its a ridiculous unleveled field like 10 :1 .

But hat is being smart. That is PVP. High sec wars give contents, in fact the period i Had most fun in eve was in the very start livign in low sec from week 2 in game and then here in high sec merc works. FW, 0.0 Blob warfare, PVE everything else paled comapred to what I have now in high sec due to wars.

BTW making posts like this will just draw more attention up to your group by other high sec hunters. Will make sure your alliance name passes under review for our next war deck week list.

Also You shoudl NEVER EVER be in a raven in a character that young.

At your age you should stick to cruisers until you learn to fight, and learn the true game mechanics (that include players interactions).

Its also a fault of your CORP for allowing you to fly a battleship in high sec during war. You know why we have such a positive result in our wars? For starters we do not allow people that are not ready to fly ships that they should not be using during a war.

Now go back to game and only think about boardign a battleship again when you have killed at least 5 other player's ships.

This game in all honesty is not nerfed for your pleasure it takes skill and thought, tolerance, dedication, and tons of patience. It seems like you might be use to getting your way all the time. In a non narcissistic world (EvE Online) you have to think there might be people who have trained longer harder and are seasoned vets. I am not but I at least know my priority's and keep calm, cool and collective. In the world and respectively New Eden things are not instantaneous and you might just want to dock up and train for a solid few months. This way at least your not an idiot complaining he can't compete in a competitive environment. Thus possibly standing a chance. Or if you want to take it easy stick to high sec and mine in a safe little corner while the scary guys do what they do best BLOW **** UP, and HAVE FUN WHILE THERE DOING EET.

Stupidity cannot be cured with money, or through education, or by legislation. Stupidity is not a sin, the victim can't help being stupid. But stupidity is the only universal capital crime; the sentence is death, there is no appeal, and execution is carried out automatically and without pity.

Jeeze Falcon have you been on the tripple Expresso's this morning.

Okay just incase your alliance hasnt told you or the fact that you havent read your emails saying war declared.

YOUR AT WAR Big smile

In a war there are a few basics to learn.

Just because a war target is not in local doesnt mean to say there not next door waiting for you.
Dont mission
Dont mine
Dont fly what you cannot afford. Or in your case have a good rant about.

PS everybody has proberbly added you to there watchlist now cos they like your tears so lol your gonna be hunted now. ALOT!

So like after 76 petitions I still dont have a logical normal answer.   Fly safe and fly true and use your headset on the Loo

As a new player I can tell you that you're doing it wrong, bigtime. Shooting NPCs makes you an underachiever and there's nothing to be proud of it They can't even fight back properly... which is what you're after anyway, I guess?

I'll see you in space.

Hey you know he wrote that book as a giant satire of the modern man who thinks in terms of the wild west, right? Rugged individualism, distrust of the state and support for harsh punishments for criminals, all mocked solidly in that book.

Ways this could have been avoided.

- Not be in the same system as a war target. Leave or dock when they arrived.
- Not be flying something expensive enough to care to lose during a war
- Hire another group to defend you during the war
- Run with friends (it looks like your corp/alliance is quite large)
- Stay in an NPC corp during war
- Use neutral alts to scout war targets and know their location
- Fit stabs
- Learn how to fight back

I'm sure there is more. Only what I could come up with off the top of my head.

THIS!!

I'm part of an industrial corporation, all of us are mainly interested in things like mining, manufacturing, research, missioning and other PvE like activities.

This does not mean however that we're not going to stand up for ourselves when threatened.
A good example of this was 2 days ago, an empire 'griefing' corp wardecced us and reinforced some of our stuff.
We put together a fleet ( of VERY cheap ships btw ), formed up, and got ready.. since KB links are not allowed I can't give you the juicy details, suffice to say, they got a bloody nose.
You don't big expensive shiny ships for this either. nearly every ship in our fleet was worth less than 1M each, and the 'expensive' ones were 2-3m at most, our losses in the battle were around 4-5M, theirs, more than a hundred times that.

Welcome to Eve.. and please don't poke the bears too much, some of them while being fuzzy and cuddly still have sharp teeth and claws.

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?

Yes. I know.

I really like Heinlein. He is among my favorite authors.

And where would the above quote be more to the point than in EvE pray tell?
