eh....

Dualboxing ratters in Deklein, flying a jamming scorpion while we were fighting Raiden. in tenal or something

in six months I'll still be shooting sov structures because clearly progodlegend will be holding out for that long

Triggered by: Wars of Sovless Agression, Bending the Knee, Twisting the Knife, Eating Sov Wheaties, Bombless Bombers, Fizzlesov, Interceptor Fleets, Running Away, GhostTime Vuln, Renters, Bombs, Bubbles ?

6 months into EVE I was running lvl4 missions in a Navy Apocalypse that I didn't really have the skills to fly in some Khanid backwater system.

6 months from now I'll probably be fighting in a defensive war in Delve. Instead of getting blueballed in station I should be getting blue balls on login screen by then. I guess that's an improvement.

Had a low sec POS up and running with a buddy of mine. Was badly outfitted and all, but it was up and running. Wrong tower for the space it was in, so had to ship in fuel from High Sec when there was no Warp To Zero. Was kind of scary. Didn't think about that when we put it up, lol.

I am at 6 months now.

I started with L1 missions in a corax and mining in a venture.

Then did L2 missions in a caracal and mining in a retriever.

Then saved up for a drake and started L3 missions.

Then found a player corp specialising in salvaging peoples L4 missions in a noctis.

Worked up my skills, isk, and standing and started L4 missions in a raven, then a navy scorpion, then a navy raven.

Then got interested in the idea of participating in incursions, so cross-trained some gunnery and got a rokh.

Spent a little while earning mega-isk in incursions and used it to buy a nightmare, then used that to earn much more.

After a while doing incursions in my nightmare I have more isk than I know what to do with.

So now I am training up assault frigates, covert ops, bombers and interceptors, to blow some money in lowsec.

6 months in I was still trying to decide what it was that interested me the most. Was doing missions, some mining manufacturing and PI, as well as exploration however still wasn't quite sure so would ofter spend a week on something then jump to something else.

In 6 months I plan to be out living in low or null getting blown up while learning to pvp and blowing people up, scouting ahead for a corp, doing bomber runs, or anything else that more than likely involves some sort of stealth type activities.

Just out of curiosity what were people doing after 6 months playing EVE (assuming you can remember)

And where do you think you'll be in 6 months now?

At 6 mo I was solo ganking miners on a 2 month alt; collecting tears, selling New Order permits, and creating content. I have no idea what I'll be doing in 6 months, but I know who I'll be doing it with which is far more important to me.

Why not answer the question your own question Paul? Are you still the self aclaimed king of pvp suck? Or have you found your place yet?

I'm just past 7 months in, and a month ago I was probably just finishing my cov ops training and doing exploration in null. Am realizing how non profitable it is! Still looking for that one thing that will sustain me, but so far just having fun with the different options that are available.

6 months in: level 2 missions in a quiet lowsec, discovering T2 weapons by looking at what killed my 24th thrasher and checking the prerequisites on it, fat-fingering approach and orbit buttons and so discovering that you could get under a BS rat's guns and chew it to death with a destroyer or cruiser. If i made 2 million in an evenings ratting and didn't get dogpiled or instapopped, felt like i'd kicked much ass.

6 months from now: making motorboat sounds in a deep dish of enemy tears as i exact a terrible vengeance for some imagined slight. Scrolling through assets in amazement at all the stuff extracted from same. Long game best game.

However, as a result of the space bar channel I was slowly dragged into some drama unfolding. The creator of the channel wanted to be the defacto non-official-help-chat for the newbs and his gimmick to make it work was making a point of having everyone using in-game voice.

It was working too. Not only was he teaching them but also leading them in newb fleet through level 4s. The Combat oriented newbs would join him in combat, the salvagers would come in and clean it, and the miners would mine w/e was in the deadspace.

true story.

I know the leader of said group. total nutball...but very charismatic lol. how do I know? because this same guy basically recruited me much later into one of the iterations of his big noob dream. aptly called "legion of idiots" lol. but it was a good learning ground. I learned more about the game in those first few days than I have basically in total since...

but...to answer the OP's question. 6 months in I had inherited a corporation of my own and had taken it into a wormhole. fairly successfully, too. but eventually interest waned and some of the carebearish types that got ganked a few times and couldn't handle it. wormhole life was too tough for a lot of them. oh, well...it wasn't too tough for me.

I still live in one. different corp though.

Like many had started off mining, however at 6 months I was in a industrial corp and had started mining in a Hulk, I was bored and was reading the forums and found a thread about NPC 0.0, so decided to do that, so at that point I changed my skill plan to be able to operate there, 2 months later having got a drake to an acceptable level I made my way there and walked into a ton of drama and a six month out-numbered war, but enjoyed it immensely...

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

If you remember at all, you were not drunk...!
Best killmails are the one you find next morning and can not reconstruct in any way.

I was just finished grinding away for my very first jumpclone with Brutor Tribe and went to Lowsec in my trusty Rifter.

Also I found out about this new, awesome thing cakked EVEMon at that time, and realized I needed to buy these things called 'Learning Skills'...

6 months into eve... as I was 1 month into eve... as I was several years into eve... paying to play on 4 accounts.

Even though I was in the most lucrative parts of the eve universe for most of my eve life, I was still pay to play.

So I didn't play eve a lot. More so log in, set skill ques, shoot a few rats or rocks for drunken giggles to gift to corp / pay for new stuff, talk drunken **** in coms and log off.

So has been the days of my eve life ;P

Luv u guys.

That's carebear luv BTW.

Shooting people is bad. Shooting rocks 'n rats is ok.

P.s. If I want to shoot people I play an fps where it's a near insta spawn with no loss to the other player. All fun etc. Eve isn't realy like that :/

6 months in the game i had become somewhat succesful pirate in mara. Hunting and learning with people who i hated when i started.

6 months from now? I have no idea what i will be doing, FW seems to be going all stabs and cloaks and being a pirate in low-sec doesnt work so well anymore.
