If it looks like an eviction smells like an eviction then its treated as an eviction until otherwise.

Once the smell of bacon has dissipated only then can you tell the true intentions of a cook off.

Disavowed is as guilty of really just wanting a fight but making it look like an eviction as SSC and KILL. Anyone else remember when they ("we" at the time) put up a tower in AE's home? That generally does not say "looking for a fight." Although I think there were some more sinister intentions from SSC and KILL, I do not believe that the original plan was a full eviction, I think that became the plan after the storm of shitposting.

Its not unusual to be sieged by anyone.
Its not unusual to make pew with anyone.
But when I shoot you making jew with anyone.
Its not unusual to see you die.
Oh why dont you try.
Its not unusual to seed at anytime.
But when you dont seed a system its such a crime.
If you should ever want to be sieging anyone,
Its not unusual to siege in this way, no matter how you play.
You'll find it happens all the time.
Pew will never go when you want it so.
Why can this crazy fight be on time.
Its not unusual to be mad with anyone.
Its not unusual to be sad with anyone.
But If I find out that you didnt pew with anyone,
Its not unusual to find out that im seiging you.
Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Everywhere you go
Take a look at J115405
Someones trying to burn it again
With moros's and naglfar's in toe!

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Corps in every hole
But the prettiest sight to see
Is the battle report that will be
On your own kill-board

The eviction of KILL and some respect to boot is the wish of Nutmeg and Max
Trying to talk, and Disavowed taking a walk is the hope of FC and KILL
And W-space and Blood Union can't wait to fight again!

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Everywhere you go
Take a look at J115405
Someones trying to burn it again
With moros's and naglfar's in toe!

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Soon the flames will burn
And the things that will make then light
Are the legion's disco lights
Right within your fleet

[Pew Pew Noises] <-------- yes this means an instrumental

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Soon the flames will burn
And the things that will make then light
Are the legion's disco lights
Right within your fleet

Its beginning to look a lot like chrismas x4 (Echo the christmas)

Will record myself singing this for a bil. I await your offers.

We've done lots of stront checking to pick fights, but the only people we generally evict are null bears....without question. If a corp/alliance is active in wspace and I have a chance of getting a fight down the road...I have no reason to want to evict them. However, I hate seeing nullsec alliances holding wormholes simply to jew and log off when they see something on dscan. They can go back to carrier ratting sanctums... In fact, I would be happy if everyone who truely lives in wspace would adopt this policy. Twisted

Neither necessarily nullsec nor commonly nullsec. The principle still applies, but expand it to farmers in general. You disagree? C4 space (I rest my case).

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

Then you are both wrong. It doesnt change anything fundamental. People were saying the same thing during TL siege, around W-Space siege, HK siege and any other big siege that happened in the past. People keep saying how "this" (whatever it is) is gonna change wormholes and how they are dying and whatnot every couple months.

And in fact not a single of those predictions was ever true. Its remarkable that among so many alleged terrible changes and deaths, wormholes are pretty much still the same.

Except with less people, and the rest of us more centralized. Eve is about power, but with power comes great inability to get fights from people who don't want to whelp fleets (whelping fleets is only fun if you're pulling off something cool). Can't have your cake and eat it too.
Except the wormholes are more populated now - for example C4 space used to be a barren desert, now its teeming with life. And we are less centralized - bunch of large, multi-hole alliances disintegrated.

These perpetual fears and predictions are simply contradicted by facts.

Amen

(On Topic) I guess that although some people in the community have their perception of how people should conduct themselves, I suppose it's all relative and what some may see as "silly" is considered enjoyable content for others?

I'd say that e-bushido is a tad silly in a game infamous for lying, cheating, stealing, and killing; but I also admire some that practice this ingame. Different communities have their forms of roleplay, and I'm not referring to dressing up in your basement as a transgender Amarrian whilst trying to fit in your mom's favorite dress two sizes too small (You know who you are). I am referring to those types that roleplay backroom power brokers, or diplomats, or CEO's, or wormhole pioneers, or white knights, or whatever other role you take in our community.

This is a pixel spaceship game and to my friends outside this community, me logging on and even playing is silly, but I enjoy the game. I enjoy the drama, instigating wars, pissing off nerds, ****-poasting in QT's thread to help him achieve 8 pages, or even joining in with Myrddin for two hours goading Nutmeg to give us a fight ;)

Maybe our silly actions lead to evictions, invasions, back-stabbing, or theft. The bottom line is it is content that we created in the sandbox. Some people build castles, and some people like to knock them down. I'm all for doing things in a video game for silly reasons and not taking this game too seriously, regardless of how immersed I get into the content sometimes :P /ramble

Observation. People have been saying 'whs are dying' for far longer than this subforum existed (its exactly the same with any other area of the game btw):
Farmers were supposed to kill whs - they clearly didnt.
Logoff ganking was supposed to kill whs - it clearly didnt.
Dropping activity was supposed to kill whs - go check killboards.
Dropping population was supposed to kill whs - population increased instead (except C6 space).
Massive multi-hole alliances were supposed to kill whs - disintegrated.
Giant coalitions of permanent blues were supposed to kill whs - gone too.
Concentration in massive corporations was supposed to kill whs - instead we have bunch of new groups showing their muscles as some of the old ones ran out of steam.

All we see are just short term ebbs, flows and fads. But people keep screaming about end of the(ir) world over and over again. So instead of impossibly trying to prove the negative, I'd like to see something that actually demonstrates that whs are in fact dying.
