Is there a way to tell if you are being scanned down, or better yet, if someone is probing in your present system?Someone said there is a way to see dropped probes on your tactical but I want to ask more experienced players. Thanks in advance.

Sister combat probes and only another guy or two in local? Align out. Catch a ship on mid-short range d-scan and you warp out. If you are in low sec its better to be safe and not screw around. If you are running missions you have an extra layer of protection because of the acceleration gates but that doesn't mean can just derp and sit there.

If someone is probing your system for you, let's say in high sec. If it's a deadspace mission, he can't warp directly to you. He has to go through all the gates. So even if he's in a cloaky ship, you should see him coming because he has to uncloak to activate the gate and even if he cloaks again midwarp the beacon might decloak him but there are times that doesn't happen though. Still you should have catched him when you kept clicking scan.

Probes show up on directional scanner - set Sisters and standard Combat/Core probes to show up on your overview, set D-scan to max range with use overview settings, spam D-scan. If you see probes, someone is probing.

Keep in mind that people can narrow you down on D-scan while cloaked, triangulate your position, drop probes off scan, and move them into place to scan you out in only one or two cycles. This is rare, but if they're good the only way to be sure you haven't missed probes is continous d-scan spamming.

You can see probes on your ship's directional scanner. Set it to 360 degrees and 99999999999 for range to get max range and a full view.
