'Charges per cycle'

I've seen this listed on weapon stats, and as far as I know there's not even a single module in the game that uses more than 1 charge per cycle, is there a plan in the future to be able to fire an arseload of missiles at once? Because it also seems pretty silly there's all those missiles loaded and only 1 fires… opinions?

i cant think of any weopon systems that fire multiple charges at the same time. Some look likt they do but iun reality they just fire single loads just really fast. Pretty sure it would be op if it worked like you want

At a constant rate maybe, but I was thinking more of a sub cap 'doomsday', fire all of ze missiles in your launcher, then a long reload/cooldown.

The other issue I could see is how would other weapons achieve this… lasers could fire for a long burst? Hybrids just insane RoF? Projectiles firing 'superheated' rounds?

WTB arty that shoots all rounds at once. Over 220k alpha doesn't sound bad.Lol

Core and expanded probe launchers are up to 8 per cycle.
Lasers are less than one per cycle (depending on the charge it's either 0 per cycle, 1/4000 per cycle, or 10% chance per cycle of 1/100).

medium/large AARs use multiple charges per cycle as well.

orbital bombardment/tactical ammo takes a bunch of charges per gun but results in a single shot per reload.
