Seems wasteful to delete the toons. Might as well donate me your stuff. After all, if you are leaving for good, it makes no difference to you.

If your quitting all your accounts just for a crappy missile that has a reload defect I would wait.

Considering the time and effort put into all your chars would it be better just to hold them for a bit. Somthing might change and if you decide to come back you can carry on.

LOL ive been waiting over 9 months for a petition to get sorted out but im not done yet. Well maybe not yet.

Just take a break and let your subs run out and see what happens in a few months.


However if you defo up for quitting just contract some randoms your stuff and give them a happy xmas Big smile

Quoting "you will die" in EvE is fail Chars dont die in EvE. Unless you have a heart attack eek.

Care to donate a combat character? Getting the girlfriend into eve and need her in something useful. Would make a great Christmas gift for her. If you are into d&d type stuff esoteric is coming along nicely. I was in a few betas.

You do not quit EVE, you are taking a break from EVE, I tried this two times, you know...to quit, didn't work for me, I'm glad that I didn't delete my main, which I would reccomend for you also. Give yourself some time, visit the newest MMOs out there, play some other games, see that the average age of other game communities is probably about 15 years old (if you are lucky), than come back and see that rapid light missle nerf was actually a very tiny piece of fun in EVE.

P.S. I cross trained my gallente char with amarr, therefore there is a very small chance that all three toys - blasters, drones, lazors will be broken at the same time.

P.S.2 Why on earth would you want to destroy all the isk? If you really want to quit, do some people a christmas present, give them few months of plying for free. Not everybody is EVE rich you know :)

Yeah, the current throw **** on the wall and see what sticks -approach to EVE development doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Is there even any grand goal anymore? I know it used to be to build a complete sci-fi simulator, but that has been dead since CCP failed with WIS and planetary combat/landings got separated from EVE to its own game. Well there are player made stargates on the horizon, which currently seems to get a solid meh from the community according to my excitement detector.

Good luck with whatever game you decide to go for.

They get a meh because they'll just be dominated by ridiculously large null coalitions (just like high sec POCO's). For the other 80% of subscribers they'll be deployed for a day till they're blown up by ridiculously large coalitions so why would we care (other than that the majority of our sub money goes to provide content for 10% of players).
