ITT: morons that like to be called nullsec powerblocs defend broken mechanics b/c their bad at EVE

Stop being terrible. Stop blobbing insta-blap ungodly tanked remote repping archons and thinking it isn't a broken mechanic. But if you must continue then stop acting like you are anything but a mouth breathing drone assist monkey.

Face the fact, admission is the first step to recovery.

How is it rumor mongering? There is direct video evidence of Goonswarm FC calling for his coalition to violate the EULA and talking about how he himself is doing it. This is about as factual as it gets.

It's weird how you felt compelled to make this stupid concern troll post AT an ISD who aren't exactly known to step off their decisions, but moreover you're citing DABIGREDBOAT of all people as evidence of a conspiracy to crash the node where we were excitedly testing out a new doctrine in the hopes of killing N3+PL's stupidly broken drone assist carrier fleet.

Even weirder how you tend to ignore that these node crashes tend to happen right around the time N3 titans are dropped. Right around the time goons+CFC would be seeing tunnel-vision trying to kill every titan on field.

How about moving this thread and it's highly intellectual debate away from the unwashed masses to the more suitable and qualified environment of CAOD?

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

This is clear evidence that the Phoenix needs to be buffed, and Chimera given a damage bonus.

No, more likely shield the unwashed masses from having to bother with something they don't understand and/or aren't very bothered about since it's all down to some advanced end play between more advanced players.

The debate would most likely fare better if it was taken to a forum where people was actually involved.

Yeah, we crashed the node. And then we logged back in right afterwards because that totally makes sense.

Yeah, let's crash the node so they'll stop shooting at us, and log back in again so we can be shot at some more.

Better than losing an entire dread fleet -- which is exactly what would have happened if the node hadn't crashed.

Rough ordering of events:

1) Slowcat fleet deployed by N3

2) Naglfar fleet deployed by CFC
a) This I would say was demonstrated to be a successful counter to slowcats. Before other events took place, the dreads killed approx ~15 - 20 carriers while only suffering 2 - 3 losses

b) However, the Naglfar fleet was not a counter for the:

3) 40 Titans deployed by N3
These were doomsdaying down the Nags pretty hard. It's a single target attack, so it's minimal node stress. Just fancy graphics on your client, but Titans are not a node killer.

Once the titans came out, I saw about 15 dreads drop in a 20 minute period from CFC, with only a few additional carrier losses. Basically, the entire fight flip flopped.

In summary:

Stop bitching about slowcats, those aren't what killed you (at least not on their own). You have bigger problems to worry about, such as Titans and Supercapitals in general.

CFC really needs to step up their strategic assets if they don't want to just play the part of the bugs in this war.

Also, I find it silly that an alliance that has minimal experience fielding proper capital fleets (let alone supercapital fleets) compared to their opposition, feels qualified to talk about balance on the issue.

We would not have these node crashing problems if ccp would switch doomsday back to aoe kill the entire grid

Yeah? So? That doesn't prove we did it.

Do you actually have a specific rebuttal, or are you really just saying "nuuuu slowcat not imba cuz I like dem"?
