I can understand how this could have been construed, given the speed with which the guard was called out. IYes. Threats were thrown by some of your Imperial guests.

Captain Tuulinen,

Understandably, emotions were rather high. The Guard was called out to escort the two miscreants from the Museum as well as to ensure the safety of everyone, Imperial and State, so further incidents could result from loose tempers and emotions.

My congratulations to you by the way on your long-time performance of Duty for the State as evidenced by your milestone of 1000 pod versus pod victories. While as the Amarr say "Duty is its own reward" it is certainly not inappropropriate to recognize such a long period of service and accomplishment such as that.

Not the worst attempt at deflection with a compliment I've seen. But not by much.

Your grace, as usual, leaves me feeling very provincial Miss Aspenstar. Might I add my congratulations on your handling of a difficult situation with aplomb. And starcakes.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

As a long time admirer of Emperor Heideran VII, may God watch over his soul, I deplore violence. I find the actions of the Stormcrows despicable, ill mannered and uncultured. Violence should be used as a last resort. Until the Stormcrows repent of their ways, Nordar III orbital control has been instructed to deny them clearance to land and will enforce that ruling if it, regrettably, becomes necessary.
As for the safety of the guests, the Solfete Constabulary, while members of the House Savonarola Guard, are trained peace officers. Their number one priority was the safety of all guests, which included the three from the offending corporation. The safety of those attending was never in doubt.
Solfete Provincial Code ยง 17.283 has been amended. Declarations of War is now considered a disturbance of the peace and the usual punishments apply: 30 lashes for a commoner, a fine of 100m ISK for nobility.

To all those that did attend, thank you for coming. I hope that, with the exception of the unpleasantness of the declaration of war, a good time was had by all. The Helemete Museum is being cleaned and will be returned to normal operation in the next few days, so those that were unable to attend may view the exhibits if they wish.

My departure was nothing personal, Madame. I simply was not willing to take the risk of being caught up in anyone's game due to the aforementioned factor. All told, I did find the artwork to be rather interesting, and the event itself a novel change from my usual venues. Thank you for the invitation.

Miss Charantes,

Are you one of these: "Faithful, Loyalists and Allies (such as the Caldari) of the Amarr Empire and Khanid Kingdom"?

Monsiour, if you have to ask, you don't know me... But, for the sake of argument (or, more to the point, the inarguable truth), no, I am not an Amarr loyalist any more than you're a Jovian.

Mrs. Charantes-Oniseki was an honoured guest and I am unhappy that the events of the evening did not allow me to meet her personally.

I am always willing to take the time to meet with most anyone who is not affiliated with extremist organizations (Blood Raiders, EoM, etc...). Perhaps such an opportunity will present itself in the future.

Hmm, I guess I could have been invited as well then, if I RSVP'd? I was sadly unable to interpret the announcement in that way.

Ms. Charantes-Oniseki is the cherished spouse of COO Katrina Charantes-Oniseki, a caldari loyalist, as such as she was also an honored guest.
