Your allegation

That's more like a question, hence the "?" at the end...

As repeated before, grr goons. Keep passing that "I'm just asking questions" line, it certainly hasn't already been overused by another talkshow host who's been parodied to oblivion.

Nothing like quoting a train wreck of a thread that should've been locked hours ago. Sorry for putting extra fuel on that fire...

"Nobody's ever made accusations about crashing nodes intentionally before, so there's no basis for joking about crashing nodes intentionally. Therefore, he clearly wasn't joking."

Also nice double-edged sword there. If CCP says CFC didn't crash the node intentionally, CCP is favoritist and CFC crashed the node intentionally. If CCP says CFC crashed the node intentionally, then CFC crashed the node intentionally. Either way, you know already that it's true that we crashed it intentionally. At least, you've convinced yourself of such.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

We all know it isn't a question, we have all a some point seen that Faux news show to know what it means.

Exactly, which begs the question of what context was the call under, jokes or intent...

And wasn't TiDi created with the sole intention to prevent this?

Given that most of the node crashes have benefited our enemies doesn't strike you as being odd if we were doing it?

In this case the node crash benefited neither side.

I've questioned that before...just like I'm questioning this.

Unless you have proof of similar events where your enemy FCs deliberately crashed the node. And if so, let's see it and ask that question again!

At last, we have been had. I fully admit that GOOOOONS (grrr) have intentionally crashed the node to you, one of the few people who takes ~Internet Spaceships~ as seriously as it should be taken and calls out such crimes against our fellow internet nerds.

However I am disappointed, nay, disturbed by your appalling lack of understanding of the methods we used. Unlike PL, N3, and assorted scrubs, we, as a ~honourable third party~, have no need to force the average 1337pvp~er from our ranks to invest any effort into making the node crash.

You see, last night DBRB accidentally streamed his conversation with our wonderful developer friends who always populate our command mumble, ready to accidentally fat finger a button and crash the node early whenever we are at risk of losing anything worth more 0.1% of our vast space money reserve (though we could just RMT ourselves to riches again, but I digress).

We are indeed literally BoB.

Since we're also a CIA front our backup plan is to just have our undercover agents sever power lines to known N3/PL players' residences.

I forgot to mention that that was indeed our plan, but alas our spais weren't quite in position to do that in time.

Looking at who is posting on this thread, to mis-quote Shakespear, " the Alliance doth protest too much methinks."

Are you really so thin-skinned or does Goonswarm mean so much that you must all rush to the barricades to defend it?

Someone made an allegation, it's either true or it is not. Let CCP sort it out if it's true, otherwise forget baseless slurs and get on with the game.

It is a only a game, right?

Ah, but did they make an allegation? So far we just have OP implying that someone made an allegation in order to put forward the questions.

Asserting that responding to an allegation makes us thin-skinned is a little odd...

OK, we're really splitting hairs, but yes you are right. Someone made an allegation that someone made an allegation., couched in the form of a question, but still to my mind an allegation.

My point was, the Goons seem to be overly sensitive for an organisation one of who's aims is to make life a misery for anyone not a Goon.

No, of course not, but the number of Goons rushing to post against the allegation would seem to indicate that a raw nerve has been touched.

We simply post for the love of posting. We don't care what the topic is about but if the topic is about us then we doubly like to post in it. It's like another form of pvp.

Grr goons, wish they'd quit crashing nodes so more caps go boom. They're cutting into my profit margin and making my inventory back up Roll

Get over it, nodes crash because people escalate. No one likes to lose. It's part of eve right now and until CCP figures a better solution, TIDI and node crashes will benefit either side. Like I tell my 4 year old, walk it off and get over it

Look honestly, I'm calling bullshit on this one. Goons actually create a lot of fun content in EVE and I think they enjoy it, regardless of whether they joke/claim about them not wanting their enemies to have fun.
