Riddle me this.

If we cant kill it with our numbers what chance does anyone else stand?

Baltec fleet was the answer in Fountain, what has changed since? Sewers gone bad?

We can wreck the slowcats....the issue is that we kill the server before we reach critical mass. There is a big difference between a TEST slowcat fleet and a PL/NC. slow fleet under Erebus bonuses.

Think they can do more than gank a hisec mission runner or a mining barge?

I doubt it.

A rather good chance, as long as they use the right tool, unlike the CFC did until now.
That's a silly argument, numbers aren't always the deciding factor.

Well lets look at this.

They are immune to any subcap fleet and they have the largest supercap fleet.

Who else has the power to stop them?

a) They aren't immune to bombers, you won't break them but you'll stop them from dealing damage.

b) Not my issue.

That's not my point.

My point is that whining about a tactic that overcomes superior numbers is silly, and that is it.
All you have to do is come up with a superior tactic, which is what the "train dreads" post is for.

As for the supercap superiority: you're the attacking party.
Your industrial machine is intact, your carebears can do their thing freely.
Build your own, use alliance funds to buy pilots.
Problem solved.

Also, stop them doing...?

Yo, no, that's not fair, RnK are pretty good. Or that time those goon guys did that thing with the economy where they made shitloads of money, I forget the details.

Actually the fun part of this is, that if the two blocks go for it and lose massive amounts of strategic assets in major fights then this is a game changer, I can only hope that this happens, the game needs it...

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

We've been on good terms with the Russians since back in 2006 so I'm not sure really what you're getting at.

Every internet spaceships war is fought on three theatres:
• Morale and population metagame #1
• Economy and logistics #2
• Doctrines and skill level #3

Failure in any of these results in cascade of others, and when morale fails it takes a week for any entity to fold.

How will the slowcats be defeated? By making them show up less for fights. The Naglfar picture is only painted as a threatening scenario for that slowcat blob pilots, the Nag doctrine will probably never see the daylight because one day in the near future the slowcats will undock without the critical numbers to hold the spider up with good enough response. Then the morale spine cracks and N3 folds in a week.

Alternatively, the slowcats turn up with 300 every single undock and start to gain ground. No dread doctrine can reach the range of bouncer/warden with enough alpha. 140km - lol. My money is on the turn up f up though.
