And a bad one, at that. Putting a CAPTCHA on mining is just going to make sure nobody wants to mine, neither bots nor humans. This in turn, would ruin the market, as there would be a minimal mineral-input and the prices on everything would sky-rocket.

Useless fact:

Most modern diesel-electric railway locomotives have a dead man's switch; basically a button that if not pressed within a short amount of time the brakes automatically activate, preventing the locomotive from becoming a runaway juggernaut of death.

If CAPTCHA's were added to mining, an activity on the low end of the pay scale and mind numbingly boring... it would be the biggest head scratcher added to an MMO since Runescape added sleeping bags back in 2003.

Or about as bad as Runescape in general, depending on your perspective.
