Now we just need one to kill local and we'll be set. Twisted

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Lets hope thats true. Would be sweet to mask yourself from DSCAN's during covert ops cyno deployment.

Nah. If the Rapid Light Missile Launchers (and the heavies version) is any clue as to how they operate, expect this new module to be changed beyond use for most players after a patch or two. They'll probably make it work for only 30 seconds and then require a 3 hour cooldown.

I honestly hope this isn't true. This is a terrible idea, and anyone who likes it needs to HTFU and pay attention to their surroundings.

I would presume its part of a package that includes changes to local. It appears to be a tool to make finding the rabbit harder, which will probably be balanced against making it harder for the rabbit to see the fox.

if this module is part of package which introduces delayed local, im all for it.

D-Scan is an even more overpowered intel tool than local when you think about it.

And it encourages manic clicking every second to keep it up to date.

Good riddance, lets kill local next.

Things are only impossible until they are not.

You'll still have to D-scan every second, twice every second if they remove local.

Delayed local is still just as stupid as the other billion times you people have suggested it.
A module to fool dscan is not sufficient to counterbalance that.

Besides dscan itself is utterly **** and they shouldn't introduce modules to fool it before iterating the entire mechanic.
Press butan every second is not good gameplay.

DSCAN disruptor will be just like DSCAN except this time you spam a button to disrupt
essentially

*neutral enters local
DSCAN
DSCAN
DSCAN

will now be countered by

*ratter
DSCAN DISRUPT
DSCAN DISRUPT
DSCAN DISRUPT

who ever misclicks wins

Personally I hate D-scan and Local. "SURPRISE! I'M HERE!" is much better.

You've made your opinions on the subject quite clear. Fortunately for you you already have the option of avoiding both.

I rather like being compared to a fox. It suits me.
And not just because my Army MOS was 13F (pronounced Thirteen-Fox for the non-savvy among us), neither... although that is a factor.

Although, this fox prefers to hunt other foxes.

It says "Dscan Disruptor", not "Probe Scan Disruptor."

I see no problem here.
