Bookmark issues (unable to warp to)

Anyone else ever had problems with bookmarks, and find a solution?

I have a number of on grid bookmarks which I cannot warp to, because I am not presented with the 'warp-to' option, only 'approach location'. Here are a few points about them...

- These bookmarks are typically instas off a station, or tacticals off a gate.
- They are all in excess of 200km, with most of them being 300km+.
- I can warp to the bookmark from bookmarks which are on a different grid
- If I get a fleet member to sit at my bookmark (an insta for example), I can warp to the fleetmember, but not the BM.
- some (not all) bookmarks work one way, but not the other. For example, I can warp from BM to gate, but not the other way around.

Have had a good google, and while people have been having this problem for a number of years (oldest post I found about this was 2009), I couldn't find any solutions. I have tried clearing cache, creating more BMs around the ones that dont work etcetc. I am thinking about a re-install, but this current install is only a week old so am not sure if that would solve the issue.

Any thoughts?

I too am having a similar book mark issue.

I go to a Belt, book mark a asteroid this case a Dense Veld. Go back to station then warp to the book mark at zero or 10k away.

Once I warp to the book mark and speed drops to zero,,,speed jumps back up sometimes to 5k mps and looks like my ship is being pushed back from anywhere from 25km to 100km.

I have cleared my cache, also my client installation is only about 2 weeks old.

Haven't had that "can't jump there" issue yet (unless it's in a deadspace pocket where warping isn't allowed).

As for BlindBleu's "issue": being kicked away really fast is most likely the result of warping "into" some obstacle (e.g. an asteroid). Just don't warp at 0. That way you'll essentially touch the object's space and due to lag, velocity, etc. you'll be pushed a bit into the object. Then, once "physics" start to work, you're catapulted out of the object. Depending on the distance you're in, your speed, your mass, etc. it's possible to be kicked away quite a bit, especially when your ship has low agility/velocity and isn't able to easily counter that bumping (e.g. Orcas).

In case you're interested in a mining bookmark, don't bookmark the asteroids. Instead, right click your own ship and create a bookmark on your position (this works once you've selected your own ship first). This way you're also able to create a nice bookmark that's a bit away from the rocks so you're able to properly align/warp in any direction.
