There are people that do this sort of thing. 600 million is high though. Last time I looked into it, it was around 100-200 million. But that was a few years ago.

I understand that this is a way to do it

I fail to understand why you would be so stupid as to pay someone for the opportunity to destroy your corp

Of all the things that you dont do in EvE due to the possiblilty of being ripped off, this has to rank up there with some of the worst ideas ever

i think you are exaggerating

while 600m is very expensive, most of the people who do this sort of thing are solo or small group manufacturers/industrialists, meaning they won't really have "corp assets" that could be stolen.

for these types, the corp is often just a name.

There are ways of doing it that reduces the chance of destruction to very close to zero.

Some details that have been omitted from the description so far is that you don't have to boot everyone and that it's not like you need director roles for the entire duration of the process. All in all, the exposure time shouldn't be more than 24h, and during that time, any assets can be kept safe without disrupting anything important.

Honestly,
how would they be able to steal your corp?, roles and or power in the corp isn't required at all...
just let the person with the good standings join the corp, have an alt of your own that has no standings with the faction take over as ceo, then 6 days later, let everyone who has standings with the faction (good or bad) drop corp and on the 7th day, the corp will have the needed standings.
then, join the corp with your main, give yourself your roles back and go anchor your POS at the pre-located moon you want to use.

Give Dude his iskies and thank him for his week of service to your corp.

100% safe from any tom-foolery

I have "friends" who do it for people when they need it done
I also know a toon that "I" trust implicitly who has SOV to 5, can create an alliance, ect ect and can update a corp to max, but THOSE things requires him to be CEO, nothing else does.

you don't need director roles to get standings up, and you don't even need director role to set the POS...
not trying to beat you up, but in that letter, you alluded to a knowledge of how the POS system works while making statements that clearly show your knowledge isn't complete in and of itself.

just saying.

unfortunately this is impossible.any member who don't have standings will be calculated to total standings.setting pos is requires only members with +standings

There are several ppl that do this.....check the buy/sell part of the forum....and research their histories.

Look for happy customers vs awoxed or wardecd wastelands.

Many sellers do pre-made corps...so there is no waiting....take a neutral toon in with anchoring and boom..there is your high sec POS.

As always do your homework and don't rush.

Or rush and make a piwat happy today ;)

That rule makes little sense to be honest. Why C&P only? Does CCP permit the sharing of sperg/tears but only in C&P? Since the ISDs are so hard on enforcing these forum-specific rules (such as F&I, OOP), why don't you move all these crappy HED (and other nullsperg) threads to CAOD?

Well we paid for corp creation, then later for alliance creation (1b up-front, plus service fee, and oops we didn't even empty the corp wallets or hangars).

There are some individuals that make a living doing this, and they value their reputation.

Yes it is risky, but being aware of the risks is the first step to mitigating them.
