Um... it's not even the biggest in Eve. Rookie Help usually has around 2500 or so, if not more. There are about 2300 in it right now, and that's during the slower time in EVE.

Edit: The Rookie Help was @ 4100 yesterday afternoon when I was logged in, so Jita is no way near the biggest in Eve.

Nope, Jita local is small fry. I've been in IRC chatrooms with more people, and back in the bad old days of dialup Napster, OpenNap and WinMX had thousands of people in the same chatroom.

The fact that I am not a gazillionaire Gallente aristocrat with the sexual capacity of a rutting rhino is a constant niggle.

This. I've seen IRC channels with 10k users in it back when IRC was mainstream. This was around 1998.
