Create LAWS in game which concord would enforce, not just by blowing you up, but by giving you tickets with high fines that you have to pay..

For example, pay per jump (more expensive in busier stargates), pay per docking (more expensive in busier stations), per a monthly fee to fly/mine/mission in systems (more expensive in busier systems), pay weekly/monthly taxes to keep your coporation offices up, having corporation hangar or corporation services in stations, pay weekly or monthly fee for having 1 hangar in stations with items, etc etc etc..

I can come up with hundreds of ways (funny and very good for the economy) that will bring a new dynamic to the game helping at the same time giving a new birth to the market and economy of the game in general.

When I say fines/fees/payments, Im talking about tens of thousands of isks at minimum.

Ofc in 0.0 it would be different with a lot less things you need to pay for besides stargates use.

SO WHAT DO YOU SAY?? IM THE BOSS?

I remember having to que at jump gates. I recall being 576th in the que waiting 30+mins to jump one gate that was as popular as a fart in a space suite. Shocked

Some times a little less reality keeps a game just a game. Roll

Be prepared for kick to F&I forum.

^Interesting, like a Toll ISK sink. I like this idea because it might create traffic through lowsec for cheaper travel, like driving the back roads instead of the highways.

Not as big of a fan of this idea... might create migrating market hubs which is just plain annoying.

THXBYE wrote:

Don't really get this, honestly. You pay to enter the system, pay to dock, then pay to stay in space? Of the previous three, this one doesn't make much sense. If you are saying it more like renting a "hunting/fishing permit" to be able to actively kill NPC pirates, I think that's over complicating some things.

Am I paying a rental fee to Creodron that I don't have to for my corp office? Halp?

I would say that's a bit steep for the lowest level. Also, rookie systems would have to be exempt.

Can't wait to dual box my Dust toon and EVE toon on the same machine!

Per month thing is what your PLEX covers

We alreday pay rent for hanger bays in stations.

10k isk? bargain in some places.

I like the idea of CONCORD fines, however what happens if you dont have the money to pay? or if you have enough to go on a rampage through high sec?

Scale it as a % of what you have in your wallet. Then griefers will just have 0 ISK in their alt's wallet. Roll

Idea won't work and OP won't be taken seriously after their latest thread(s)

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

I could reply to all of you but just gonna let it roll for awhile :)

Im sure this is a GREAT idea, not only for the fact that will help the economy by giving it a new dynamic as well as it brings a bit of realism into the game and more..

So, bump.

If you look at the wallet entries I believe provisions have already been made for the inclusion of some of what you suggested, and more. It's just a matter of whether or not to pursue it, a lot of the framework is there.

Yay XD .. I knew it

Hopefully they implement them fast, the less isks in the game the more they are worth.

Why is it helping the economy?

All your doing is taking ISK out of ths system and paying it to NPCs, reducing spending potential. These kind of imposed effects can end up with an economic slowdown or reccession. Especially as its a direct discouragement to manufacturing and trade and increasing the costs associated with making things (likley to make thing cost more).

It also continues to fuel a "hypermarket" convinience mentality to reduce total associated travel costs. Sellers will want to encourage this for volumes anyhow, but it gives more power to those supplying not purchasing. This makes it less likely to have a more distributed supply of goods and more of an "oligopoly".

This also makes the game easier to play for the already rich as dependant on your operating margins you still have to pay the same fees making it more difficult for newer players to establish themselves due to the increased overheads.

Some ISK sinks are not always healthy, especially if there is no associated player benefit (I.e you get something tangeable for your money) just penalties.

Don't have enough money to pay the docking fee? Then stay in space and go rat until you've earned enough.

Don't have enough money to pay the stargate toll? Ditto.

Ofc you'd have to exempt capsules from docking fees - if you got no money AND no ship, you have no way (bar begging) of making the money to ever be able to dock...

I like. Game needs more ISK sinks.

I think that ships should pay going through stargates, something like: volume divided by 100 = isk payout

that would be about 2,500 isk for a battlecruiser.
