i can get to the launcher but the game crashes when its preparing data.

server had a huge hiccup recently dropping people like flys even the eve online webpage was affected online members dropped down to 7k at one point... within first 5 minutes after it returned logging in would give only a black screen aand was felt by all my fellow members on mumble .. apparently when that black screen was up you would actually go into space like normal I got killed by rats due to this

i had a black screen too. ever since then the game crashes before getting to the character selection screen
