Best: Skill Queue (I remember nearly peeing my pants in excitement when i first heard about it)

Worst: Turning exploration from a skilled occupation into a factory line job.

For years I used a Cyclone for exploration and this was back in the day that exploration sites were defended by NPCs.

When they changed the Cyclone, they basically turned it into a Gnosis without the scanning bonus.

The result is a ship that can field missiles AND drones and run a 100 MN AB too, so it can speed tank on a wide orbit, but still fit a buffer and the entire host of scanning/hacking/cloaking and even drone upgrades.

And for scanning bonus or hacking, there are rigs for that. I never had much trouble finding anything with a grav cap upgrade and Sisters gear. With just a paltry single large extender for tank it could still solo up to class 3 (though 3 is REALLY pushing it).

Odyssey and now the SoE ships have as expected rendered exploration fit battle cruisers(and probably the Gnosis too) obsolete for exploration. But still, I find the Cyclone to be the perfect ship since the changes. It's very flexible now, and cheap too. For someone who is just getting started in exploration or cannot afford an SoE ship, I would still recommend the Cyclone. It's has a lot of brute force behind it and the slot layouts provide great flexibility with generous calibration in the rig slots. And being a battle cruiser leave it with a great lack of mass for WH travel (though the SoE battleship Nestor will be making this feature of BC mass also obsolete).

The new Cyclone is IMO one of the best ships in the game for the ISK.

Best: difficult to say.

Worst: I'd have to say that, for me, Incarna and WiS are top of the list of worst changes ever made to the game as I know it (from 2009, post Apoc expansion).
I am not against the idea of WiS, I think it has a lot of potential, but the implementation was a disaster. While there will always be a divide on whether WiS belongs in Eve, CCP did such a horrid job on it that they screwed over both sides of the issue. People against WiS got a raw deal because of the time and resources that could have been better spent on FiS material, while the people who want WiS got a half assed, poorly functional, system taxing apartment with a TV.
Then to go and have to listen to the likes of Hilmar praising it like it was some world shattering breakthrough technology, and the subsequent months of excuses and empty apologies that flowed out, it is simply one of the most damaging expansions I've seen in games.

Worst: Adding gas clouds, supernovas, and other visual blight to every system/constellation. I miss deep black space.

Best: Ummmm....Making the Achura start with the same number of attribute points as everyone else? Allowing an annual remap? Making the Nemesis look like a legless crab?

Best, warp to zero.

Worst, allowing DUST, a game I do not play, on a console I do not own, to have any effect whatsoever on Eve Online, a computer game I do 'own' and pay for.

What next, World of Darkness Vampires attacking us in the Captains' Quarters?

This is not a signature.

I thought I was the only one who still did that!

Best: Probably the introduction of worm holes
Worst: The nerfing of NOS modules into complete uselessness.

The best thing that happened was some driven Icelanders getting together and deciding they where going to make a SF game. And then also doing it.

But consider that a Stratios costs as much as buying and (T2) fitting a strategic cruiser, I'd say there's plenty of room for other ships at this time. When prices start to come down, then there will definitely need to be a balance discussion.

Of course, based on the market data at this time, it seems unlikely prices will come down. The market has surprisingly little velocity at this time.

Things are only impossible until they are not.

Hmmm interesting. Suddenly I am more inclined to sell my Stratios than use it.

Oh and the worst change ever?

Before this change I had a racket going. I never cleared exploration sites. I used amazing levels of drone fu and Captain Kirkery to hack/ana/salvage the containers while still in combat. Sometimes I would draw the NPCs off, then warp to the cans, do my thing, and I'm gone before they got within 50 KM.

But then, one day:

"You cannot open these containers while they are still being defended". (or something like that)

Aaaargh! (shakes fist). Tricksy CCP hobbitses we hate them!

Best: cruise missile improvements.

Worst: The sad jokes that pass for expansions in this game.

Yawn,  I'm right as usual. The predictability kinda gets boring really.
