I'm entirely convinced, now, that you're not understanding something about how med clones work.

Med clones are always lost on pod death.

If you have a screenshot taken immediately after a pod-death showing that you still have a med clone that is above grade "alpha" I would love to see it. If that's the case, it is a bug - most likely just a UI/caching bug that is failing to update the display of your current clone grade.

Humor me:

What is your current skill point total?
What is your current clone grade?

You can see both of these on the character sheet, e.g.:

http://imgur.com/0S8bLjU

Here you can see that I have 2,641,517 skill points, but my clone only covers 900,000. If I were to be podkilled (or if I were to self-destruct my pod) right now, I would lose SP. Better update my clone!

Here are my clone upgrade options. Clone grades that will not adequately cover my skillpoints are grayed out. I upgrade to a clone grade Delta, which covers 2.8 million sp, and now:

Were I to be podkilled right now, I would not lose any SP, but would revert to a clone grade Alpha, which covers only 900,000 skillpoints which, as before, is inadequate to cover my SP, and I would need to once again update my medical clone.

The reason I do it is to save my Implants sets.

How does it do that?

The Jump Clone does, it saves your implants. You can't pod-jump and save your implants.
However, if you have them saved in a jump clone before you pod-jump, they are saved.

Again, repeats that I don't understand. And literally trying to argue about understanding (or knowledge for the matter, which comes before understanding).

It should be, although that when it is not the case, it is a bug.
The same for the fact that if you loose Skill points or get penalized in a Skill when Clone jumping, it is a bug too.
The same for the fact that if your lost skill points are not counting towards other skills requiring them to be learned, can be interpreted as a bug. (rightfully so in this case.)
Funny enough, that same skill level penalty doesn't hinder other related skills, except that it has to be learned again.
[Find and insert cause or reasons.]...

That's right what I was saying for over 1 day.

I have more than 3 pod pilot that can and did jump clone. In fact, most of my pod pilots do and I have 12.

What if you podkilled and you kept your SP?
Don't tell me I don't understand when I do.
Don't tell me you can't comprehend that you're exactly telling me I don't understand.

By the way, I had to revoke a corp CEO role, and become a new CEO.
I'm also busy with corp recruitment and have to join 3 corps and deal with other management tasks ingame.
Not counting the numbers of clones.

Those are a list of my clones and implants + 1 more not listed that got destroyed.

Yes.

And you have lost SP because you forgot to upgrade.

I dont see the entire point of this thread about a stupid human error and trying to blame the game for it.

Listen here. You come to these forums as a new player (judging by your character age and the fact that you post in the new players forum) asking questions about game mechanics. Several different people come here and take their time to politely explain to you where you are wrong and point out ways to avoid SP loss in the future. Yet you choose to dismiss all these explanations in favor of your original view, which as you yourself said does not agree with what the game tells you. You claim to have screenshots proving your cause, but you refuse to post any of them here for examination.

What exactly are you looking to gain by posting in this thread? Do you want someone to validate your incorrect world view? Are you looking for pity because you screwed up and lost SP? Because if you're looking for answers, you already got them. The fact that you're ignoring them is entirely your problem.

Which do you think is more likely? That the game works differently for you than for the other 500,000 subscribers? Or that you, as a new player, simply don't entirely understand the nuances of the (admittedly sometimes confusing) clone system, or are misinterpreting the game UI?

The Eve New Citizens Q&A forum is not the place for your trolling.

Easiest solution;

A. Ignore the posts of this person as he doesnt want to listen to advice.

B. Ignore the posts of this person as he is just another troll.

C. A combination of the above.

Pick one.

The Jump Clone does, it saves your implants. You can't pod-jump and save your implants.
However, if you have them saved in a jump clone before you pod-jump, they are saved.

I know how jump clones work, I'm asking why you self-destruct.

The only reason for self-destructing is to gain something that's worth the cost of a new medical clone.

So my question is what exactly do you think you are gaining by self-destruction?

You are just being ridiculous.
I just mentioned the bug was on my end.
Are you such a programming ****** that you can't even see that and have to try to incite others to attack me about wrongdoings?
Says who that there is no code designed to do this on my account and not on other accounts?

You are saying that right there yourself.
Quit attacking me and move on to other threads.

As for dismissing anything, I will be printing them myself.

How much more attack do you think you can do to me if I were to say,
pay you between 34b of the ingame ISK to even more?

Just make sure I won't be your doctor or any of my associates.
+ To make matters worst, the EVE Forum again refused to save the draft properly, which I again had saved properly.

Also, if you are worried of not being able to counter-attack me and keep your heart into oblivion about my fate...
You can click the Hide post and look at the thread which will then show a link named: 'Show Posts'.
You can also alternately show the only one post that is left.

I take the bets as to how many pot shots are going to be plastered all over this thread after that.

Bugs and exploits should be reported through the proper channels. Bugs should be brought to the attention of CCP by filing a bug report for our Quality Assurance department. More information on filing bug reports can be found here. Discussions about unverified issues in game can cause unnecessary panic in the community. When there is an issue that the EVE Online community needs to be aware of, it will be communicated via an official statement from CCP after thorough investigation.

Since the OP is insisting this is a bug, it needs to be treated as such. A lot of the stuff in this thread makes for a great bug report, so please report it.
