This is my idea for a EoM faction race. I'm only going to do the battleship. It's just for fun. I hope others post their own ideas for all different new faction races and ships :^ )

Equilibrium of Mankind (Caldari & Amarr)

Sorrow

Special Ability: 25% bonus to Large Hybrid Turret rate of fire

Caldari Battleship Skill Bonus: 4% shield resistance per level OR 10% bonus to large Hybrid Turret optimal range per level
Amarr Battleship Skill Bonus: 10% bonus to Large Hybrid Turret falloff per level OR 7.5% bonus to Large Hybrid Turret tracking per level

High 8

Medium 7

Low 5

We already have a Caldari/Amarr faction spaceship line. (Sanshas)

Casual Incursion runner & Faction Warfare grunt, ex-Wormholer, ex-Nullbear.

We do? No way! We also have 2 faction Gal/Min, so always room for more I'd say. And it's just fun ideas.

a caldari/amarr ship that doesn't shoot lasers or missiles would troll caldari/amarr RPers pretty hard. I like it.

Nix the shield resistance bonus.

with optimal and falloff bonuses, this thing plus null would work a lot like scorch megapulse battleships i think, except more awesome because blasters.

I went with Clad/amarr to through people off, instead of Gal/Amarr. And I just LOVE to see a Amarr looking ship with hybrids and using shields haha

I'm not sure if you've ever done the "Gone Berserk" missions (especially Lv4 where the best-looking ships are found) but Equilibrium of Mankind are active shield tankers with railguns who fly black amarr hulls with blue accents. Given that Railguns are technically more Caldari than Gallente (as is shield tanking), Caldari/Amarr actually makes perfect sense and has been suggested before.

Maybe a bonus to shield boosting rather than a shield resist bonus.

When I have fought EoM for SoE they always had rails and their shields always seems better then their armor. Very cool looking ships too, a blue grey

I would really love to be able to fly the sexy sexy EoM ships and a hybrid shield tanker would fit perfectly.

Minor snag though is EoM has no agents.

Neither agents nor beltrats nor anything else. And this is, if I remember correctly, the biggest reason why we can't spin EoM ships in or hangars yet.

Yes, and one of them should be Cal/Min just to avoid overlap. Unfortunately, amount of tears skill requirements change would create stops me from even thinking of proposing it.

OT: is there a reason behind these ships except basically being tweaked caldari hybrid platforms with shiny looks?

I think I did one a few weeks ago, and as far as I could tell I was shooting untanked red crosses that may or may not have been shooting back.

If you want them to be specifically rail-gunny then that pretty much begs for optimal and tracking. I only mentioned blasters because having a dual range bonus with large null blasters would be pretty ridiculous. I still say lose the resistance bonus, although boost+tracking would still be pretty strong.

Although, judging from an NPC database, it seems a lot of their ships primarily use kinetic missiles. Maybe give them a split weapon system (5/5) with a kinetic-specific bonus (why don't any BS have kinetic bonuses???). LolLolLolLol

I already did a forum on Cald/Min faction ships.


Might want to look at a Nightmare bonuses, and tell me what the Caldari bonus does haha. Pretty sure it gives a Caldari Battleship Skill Bonus: 5% bonus to Large Energy Turret damage per level. So my bonuses for the EoM are pretty sound I'd say.

Just wanted to throw this out there, we don't have 2x Gal/Min. Serpentis is Gal/Min, and Angels are Min/Gal. It's a giant technicality, but it could be compared, sort of, to the difference between Per/Will and Will/Per. From the precedent CCP set with Serpentis and Angels, I don't see a reason why Sansha being Amarr/Caldari would rule out EoM being Caldari/Amarr.

All that said, EoM look cool when I see them, but I'm fairly indifferent to getting an EoM ship of my own.

First off you are wrong Serentis isn't one, it's Guardian Angels. And we do have 2 Gal/Min, just because they are both from Angel doesn't mean we don't have 2. The Guadian Angel and Angel Cartel are VERY different ships, but are both Min/gal.

I would like to fly a EoM ship but CCP would have to bring in agents and such for them. And We'd also need to look forward to another Amarr/Min, Gal/Cald faction ships too. Only one I know CCP NEEDS to make is a CaldMin one to go with the new SoE Amarr/Gal. I have already did a forum on that too haha

Funny, seems that the Guardian Angels corporation offers Machariels and Cynabals just like every other Angel LP store.
