I start my client , enter account info / pw, hit play then this happens.

Ive restarted my machine, re-downloaded the client and done a fresh install and still getting the same error.

Anyone got any thoughts?

Just to add, I was mid game when my client froze up, upon restart I got this error message, hence I then restarted the machine, same error, re downloaded, same error :/

The last few patches have been pretty wobbly. I used to get that when the memory leak in EVE had chewed through most of my available RAM. It still happens at random, but much less frequently now.

How much RAM do you have, and what other applications are you running when you launch EVE?

Hmm. I've only seen that error once, recently, but it was near launch. It's a stray pointer, so it could be anywhere and it's probably hard to find.

The Mac EVE client seems to have a few problems with memory leaks and pointer exceptions going back at least as long as I've played (about two years now).
