It's not MY fault I'm off TDY and this is the easiest way to chat with my better half.

Just a little update:

We will be kicking our celebration off in just over an hour from now. The requested attire is white casual or formal. Dress uniforms would be perfect.

We have chosen the door prizes which are in Jita, to be won every fifteen minutes while we are officially hosting the party. As you enter onto the Terrace you will ask our corpmate, Almity, to give you a number for the drawings.

I attended and was very impressed by the hard work and organisation put into the event. Miss Lianne was a gracious hostess and the guests were a varied and interesting bunch - it was great to take some time out, get dressed up and socialise in the flesh with people I don't see half as often as I'd like.

As a side note, if you receive an invitation to a formal event like this and they're not usually your style you should consider pushing out of your comfort zone to attend, even if only once. Not only might you find it's more to your taste than you'd expect, but it gives you the chance to appreciate Amarrian womanhood in a setting they seem uniquely suited for. It seems that the more formal the occasion the more relaxed and at home some of them become. Just an observation in the interests of cultural outreach.
