I Actually Love PI But...

Extractor heads. I'm fine setting them up, I enjoy optimizing my positions. But when a cycle finishes its impossible to tell which extractors need to be moved. There is usually one extractor head that needs to be moved to cause my output to ROCKET up 20-50k. Fiddling with anything else tends to get 1k or 2k extra which is not worth the time to move the heads.

Why can't I have a panel depicting the actual output of each head instead of having to calculate the differences based on the old and new total values? I know the reason the colors are mostly useless for getting good value is due to my low planet/advanced skills but there's no reason to obfuscate the head values.

you need to select each head , PI its an active business not juste for alt or macrofgamer ;)
but a view where you can see all head of a ECU(extractor control unit ) wil be a great help

I can observe the change in value when I move the head around. I'd just rather know WHICH heads to move around.

As far as PI being active, indeed. And it will be much more active when I'm running 24 characters at once. It still has nothing on doing 250 fleet at once probe explorations in Warring Factions or farming 20k wood over 12 hours for charcoal research following the same route over and over getting 28 wood a minute in ATITD.

PI is like baby's first Capitalism 2. That doesn't mean anyone would appreciate the unnecessary data obfuscation EVE engages in. Does ATITD hide the amount of wood per tree? No, because that's stupid. We already have the colors being incredibly unhelpful until you max out Advanced Planetology. No need to stack more layers of opaque mechanics on top of that.

LOL. I was logged in on another character when I responded. Fun times.

24 char ... The octopuses have several brains in every tentacle, not the multi-octopuse account .. so sharing time

ive only one account and 18 infra enough for spend a lot of time ...^^

If you boost your planetology + advanced planetology you should see heatmap and mining expectations in much more detail.

Yes I know this. Not what I was asking.

swich off poorly positioned heads, you can see the output quantity for each head, and swich them on again.

In the 2 rows of 5 heads you can see the number that is expected to be extracted. if you move your mouse over the low number you will notise the extractor head getting a small "star" near the center (star what ever small circle it is) which indcates that this is the head your looking at. then take your mouse over to this head and move the head to a better location. at least thats what I do when i want to optimise the output from each head.

I use the heat map, the extraction values are largely irrelevant and, as you say, require that many more keystrokes.

Use the heat map to reposition heads. Double click next planet. Rinse. Repeat.
