Day 1 First Blood

I feel like this thread should be renamed "That Awful Smell When..." talk about derailed

Overall it was a pretty decent night. I mined zero anything, thank Bob for that and I even got to shoot at some stuff which is good even if only 9.86% of one BC, I'll take it... A slow night for learning, unless you count me jumping ahead of ourselves a few times. Oops. But, as James Rapture likes to say, "Jam', you a scrub... lol." Sexy Times of Fantastic, jah!!

In true DTF fashion things became more organized as the night wore on and leadership took a smaller and smaller role in getting things moving ... scattered showers with a chance for tears, mostly cloudy in the morning with things heating up as we get closer to bedtime. [it gets late here, ya know]

Travonous Trapoll lost his Thorax pretty early on in the day, we caught him fapping away in the backseat of Calbit's Cyclone near a planet... for some reason I think our prompt arrival was somewhat unexpected as it took them much longer than expected to run away. Not only can Calbit not be trusted with nanoribbons or accurate quotes for reimbursement of his Slasher when he forgets to activate kill rights ... but he is now a bail'er which disappoints me. I'm not usually wrong about people.

Argent Argenthand lost a Kestrel and his pod to an angry band of merry-makers ... not quite entirely sure how that went down but I suspect it had something to do with an incomplete fit. A classic sign of poor planning or a maybe a real lack of people willing to steer the young ones down the right path. To be fair though, he didn't run away [looking at you Calbit] so props to him.

Finally, that Myrmidon!! 9.86%, yeah, I said it. That's almost ten in case you missed it. Short work, small loot drop. Went down faster than a brony at Fan Fest ... Sorry ladies, I'm taken.

DEVILS took zero losses. Tomorrow will be better - they're only 108,000,000.00 ISK in the hole. Plenty of time to turn it around with no allies.

My attempts at communicating with the natives have proven unsuccessful. Complete lack of effort and caring on their part, tsk tsk. Perhaps another week of open conflict will move them to strike back at their aggressors with renewed fervor.
