I'd quickly answer that with 'baseliners, yes.' I suppose defining who are you precisely referring to as 'Intaki Separatists' might be helpful in answering the question better.

Likewise, Mr. Dreygun, but it seems Ishuk-Raata pilots have some kind of an issue with the Intaki separatism question being... well brought to question.

I believe military experts are calling that a white-knighting field.

The only real issue here is Gallente imperialism.

Honestly, sitting on this side of the fence, it doesn't seem so bad. I mean, every government has issues and agendas, right? Besides I'm immortal, chances are good that the factions will die out before I do. So no real issue there.

A little trust goes a long way. The less you use, the further you'll go.

I always thought the mullet was both an Intaki tradition and a chic fashion statement intended display the inherent virility of an Intaki man?

Certainly, another clear sign of Gallentean cultural imperialism that they seek to undermine the beauty of a well maintained male mane. Fortunately, the Khanid do not suffer from such vagaries and continue to impress with God's will that a man keeps their business at the front and the party at the back.

Mullets, or moustaches and beards. *grins*

Exhibit A

On Intaki, my favorite place to go is a little out of the way hole-in-the-wall barber shop, the proprieter thereof does things old school style, with a extremely sharp blade...and fire.

I visit him practically every time I come back home on business. Sure, with a capsuleers riches I could take myself to the fanciest of grooming salons, but getting oneself some pamperment old school styler is still the best touch.

It's always the small things in life that make it worthwhile.

Well the problem was that too many holoreels were depicting the mullet as a kind of hairstyle mainly associated with the kind of men who have derelict ground vehicles up on blocks and old refrigeration units in their front yards with homemade spirits being produced in the back yard.

Ok Intaki is like that but still it's hard enough that they say you can take the man out of Intaki but you can't get the Intaki out of the man.

That too is true. Yeehaw!

You forgot to mention the gigantic sunglasses. All part of the uniform, y'know.

Oniseki has it about right. X Gal isn't even the first to try this schtick - I believe that was Moira and Soter's little band of more-righteous-than-thou holy warriors. It worked about as well. Which is to say, not at all.

Before my time, but I resemble that remark!

X Gal is just teasing the ILF fuzzies a bit. As I recall Moira actually wardecced them? I suppose it depends on your definition of "working out" as to the success of that war. My only knowledge of the conflict comes from the highly amused drunken stories told to me by veteran pilots when I joined up. Seems to have gone as expected: one side docked up refusing to risk actual conflict until the other side gets bored and focuses their attention elsewhere.

If I'm not in Intaki mining or combating the ubiquitous Serpentis menace, I can usually be found planetside with my parents at their cabin near the Ural mountains. Otherwise I can be found patrolling most of the Placid region looking for potential capsuleer pirate threats, of which there seem to more and more every day...

Also, nothing beats heading planetside for some homecooking at the end of a day protecting Intaki interests. Though Mom still won't let me help in the kitchen, I can fly multi-million kilo vessels through the depths of space but she still doesn't trust me near an open flame... :|
