Depends on who you ask...

With dual character training, I'm willing to bet that the actual number of accounts has lowered...

Which explains their obvious cries for attention recently...

Not really, considering they don't actually lose money if someone decides to have 2 characters training on one account rather than having 2 accounts.

Yes, they do. Not that it makes what Azami said any less dumb.
Uh, no, they don't. they still pay a 30 day plex for 30 days of dual character training. If anything they could in fact save money, since they get less load as fewer simultaneous logins are encountered.

CCP actually makes more money with dual character training then having 2 unique ACCTS...

I'm more then willing to bet that ever since dual character training, the actual number of ACCTS has dropped...

Look at this image (stolen from forum post of the latest PLEX for GOOD dev blog).

If you look closely it says 440k subscribers on the Odyssey expansion wallpaper. I'd like to see the one for Rubicon.

Are forum warriors considered active accounts? I've always seen them as benefactors of my entertainment rather than actual players.

After looking into active numbers and working this on a 24 hr tz

Then taking an average of alts mixed with multi users and I came up with the number 23 which is quite farkin scary

32:23 But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.

Ok tinfoil hat on now

I've always thought the same about non-forum-warriors.

If people logged on is any indication, then Eve Tranquility is pretty flat.
I am sure CCP is making coin on increased Serenity subs.

Rubicon has not translated into a big surge of online activity.
And given CCP's plan to further marginalize the largest portion of their sub base, high sec players, with future iterations, logic indicates that TQ's activity level will only decline.

Last time I heard about it (I think it was around FanFest), it was something like 500k. I'd be interested at what rate it has been growing since, because one of the recent dev blogs suggested a significant increase.

I too believe in the fairy tale that less active players means more subbed accounts.....Lol
