if you leave the eve launcher open when you put your computer to sleep it will not check for a new patch download once you wake up your computer....

Could you put a refresh button atleast? :)

mine doesn't work at all, if I try and log in after a patch it has not downloaded, it just goes blank, and I have to close/ relaunch it. Its best to close the launch when u finish playing/ DT happens.

Don't be one of those people.

Even a hibernating computer is wasting our precious resources. Turn it off and you'll be doing your part to save the planet.

Hibernate is a full shutdown. The contents of ram are saved to nonvolatile memory (hard drive) and the computer is shut off. You can even disconnect the power cable if you want. On startup, it reloads all the data from you hard drive back into ram. Assuming the hibernate save/reload time is less than the normal shut down/boot up time, you are saving power. Standby keeps the ram powered while shutting off everything else, so there is still a minimal power draw.

Or just get an ssd and have sub 15 second boot up times.

Personally I would like to see an option to add the Singularity install path. Use a Radial button to select Tranquility or Singularity. Make it easier to have one launcher with multiple install paths vs 2 launchers and potentially breaking the client.

TQ and Sisi sometimes have different versions of the launcher, which makes this impossible.

Or run your PC 24/7 and don't face boot up times at all.
