Advise on fitting a Tengu for 10/10 Ninja nullsec work

Hello i want to run a ninja tengu in Gurista/ Serp space that is capable of running 10/10 plexes and this is the fit that i have come up with. (I have a travel fit so i change into this when i get there)

Highs

6 X Heavy Missile Launcher with tech II missiles
Improved cloaking device II

Mids

Gist X type Thermic dissipation field
Gist X type Kinetic deflection shield
Gist X type Kinetic deflection shield
Republic Fleet 10mn Afterburner
Pithium A-type Medium shield Booster

Lows

4 X Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System

Adaptive shielding
Fuel catalyst
Accelarated Ejection bay
Augmented Capacitor Reservoir
CPU efficiency gate

Implants

5% ROF
5% HML damage

Either Low Grade or normal Crystals

DPS 733

Tank

Thermal 94%
Kinetic 95%

Cap lasts 2.47 with everything running

Explanation and questions

1. As i am an unwanted guest in nullsec i need 7 highs for a cloak if the local denizens turn up and try to scan me down. This is why im using Adaptive shielding and not the amplication node. Loss of a mid slot for a highslot.

2. CPU efficiency gate is used as this fit is way over on the CPU needed

3. Rigors and flares for the terrible Tech II missiles so i can get full DPS from them

4. Does this have enough tank for a Gurista/Serp 10/10.

5. Which type of crystals should i use and are they overkill

6. I am aware that if this dies its a loot bukake but i am prepared for that and i have spent a lot of time in nullsec exploring and i have never been caught yet. I dont take silly chances.

7. This is an alt for obvious reasons :)

Your very very valuable opinions please

Righto.

(A) Use mobile depot to fit for sites, travel in a travel fit that's hard to catch.) responded before edit

B) Read up on the sites before heading out there, and bring the required tank mods with you for mobile depot refit. For example The Maze could have a nasty surprise factor. Don't rely on forum info, spend a couple hours jotting down all 7/10 - 10/10 site specials you need to know. Use the wikis as source.
C) As you speed tank it, the crystals could well be swapped for halos to make it harder to scan down and harder to lock.

Thanks for this info and i will use a nano fit covert tengu for travel and leave a stack of missiles in a barely used lowsec jump point.

Using Halos instead of Crystals is an really interesting idea.

Thanks this

i use halos in pvp and they are awesome. i would think that they would work well here also due to multi function. harder to get hit from npc and harder to be scanned down.

You will be shooting a Guristas Maze 10/10 for ages with just one HML tengu. Just pointing that out. might want to consider an alt for extra DPS.

However serpentis 10/10 much easier. =]

You don't speed tank the Maze. The tank make or break moment on the Maze is when you warp in to the last room. You will then be webbed by ~20 webbing frigates, the station and 4 stasis towers. You will be going around 10m/s regardless of what speed mods or implants you have fit. If you can tank this moment, the rest is easy. If you can't, without speed tanking (because you're not moving)...then you die.

I actually take off my speed mod for the Maze because it is pointless.

With 733 dps you will have a very hard time with an HML tengu, since the station has a ridiculous defender missile rate. You will eventually get it down, unless you run out of missiles first.

ninja plexing 10/10? your problem will be finding one Roll

And even if you find one, your isk/time spend will not be worthwile. Best income from maze is when you get it as escalation, because you're not spending days on finding one, but are ratting doing havens and sanctums

just stick to doing 6-8/10. Also there;s alot of explorers running around sov guri space so you'll have hard time to even finish 1 room.

tank wise you are more than fine. The pithum A-type should let you face tank everything thats kin/therm. You'll probably just use the AB for positioning. The halos are a cool idea that will certainly improve your tank even more.

what are your rigs?

your DPS is very good too, I have a similar tengu and its rips through BS. I can't comment on how slow/fast it will break the maze solo however (especially as it has a 50% defender chance).

Cargo wise you will have problems. On top of 50m3 for the mobile depot, you have 40m3 for the covert sub, 40m3 for the scanning sub, 100m3 for one of your cloaks (you'll have two, the other will be fitted), you simply won't have room for nearly enough missiles to handle one of the longer complexes (and thats without a nullifier sub). If you ditch all the scanning equipment and make a completely separate trip for running the site, you still will probably want the interdiction nullifier. Without a second account or a closer ammo dump, you'll need to get very creative. One option is to go without a t2 cloak, saving 100m3. In this case you have to bounce to a safespot and survive 50 seconds to get your depot down and get cloaked up, which imo is pretty doable but not exactly ideal either.

There's no need for a cloak with the new safe logoff function. What you do is you warp to your first safe and align to the next one, if probes are near you warp to the next safe. You keep making new safes and warping to them until your timer runs out. When there's a few seconds of timer left you deactivate your invulns and other mods, drop fleet, align next safe and start the safe logoff countdown while checking shortscan for incoming ships. In 90% of cases you get out safe (otherwise you have to warp to your next safe and try again), wait an hour or so, and come back to continue what you are doing. You will only need the covert cloak/nullifier for traveling.
