Ok, so we got another patch this morning. Looked here.

and nothing...... any ideas on what this one was for?

OP has a point though, I was hoping patch notes would be up so that I could see about some of the bug fixes that I was told were going to be in it, specifically the ones to fix audio issues. Still no patch notes to confirm whether they actually put it in there or not.

You must realise that EVE is in perpetual beta. So catching up with the documentation takes a back seat.

CCP work on the same principle as Microsoft, shove it out the door and then patch,patch,patch until it's time for the next iteration.

You would think though, that unless the QA people are like me, going deaf,that they would have picked up such beauties as the new "improved" MWD/afterburner sound effect before rolling Rubicon out. Even to my impaired hearing it was like having a piece of glass rammed into my ear.Sad Catch the gotchas before deployment then no need for patches or patch notes.

Dont expect much from a patch in this game, usually just they are just fixes because some moron previously coded something bad.

So patches in EvE = fixes of previous fixes that failed to fix what they were meant to fix in the first place.


CCP: I want to release a new patch.
DEVS: Ok I got a list of fixes we can just throw in there in the form of new content.
