[GRAPHIC] Rotation thrusters

There should be small thrusters on the sides of the ships which get used when the ship rotates. That would make the ships look much more realistic.

nice but before they should do this kind of nonsense they should implement tesslation to create planetary surfaces with atmosphere who look some more 3d .... (and maybe save polygones on asteroids...)

I like it. They could be scripted to activate dynamicaly depending on the type of the movement the ship does.
Imagine a Tristan with 6 maneuvering thrusters. That would be awesome!

Could I turn them off for large engagements?

It should automatically not get rendered when to many ships are there (the frames per second would get to low).

I'm pretty sure that nothing else does anything like this, so you not only want every single ship remodelled, but an entirely new system coded in as well?

I'm pretty sure that nothing else does anything like this, so you not only want every single ship remodelled, but an entirely new system coded in as well?

In big fleets only the ship you are looking at have their turrets rendered.
