Back after 3 year break: Subbed for 3 days, wow, unsubbing again

Do you mean the rest of the universe didn't stop when you unsubbed, 3 years ago?

I have also Just returned , actually I returned 6 months ago deleted my old characters and created this new character but found the game had not changed much or I had not changed enough spent a couple of days in game and left. Kept an eye on eve I know from many others that have left that even today I still get emails from them discussing some eve aspect or other. Anyway, Rubicon comes out and I think to myself let’s give it another go but this time, let’s not get any prima donna ideas about my old character and how good I used to think I was let’s just try to learn what the game is now. So I have picked up this character again with about 600k SP and joined a good relaxed corp which asks nothing of me and also contains a knowledgeable set of players.

The adventure begins, if it works In 6 months or so I should be looking for other challenges.

When I came back after my 2 year break I had literally nothing, an empty wallet, no ships, nothing. I played my way up to a decently full hangar and had some fun and then realized I had my most valuable asset still, my character. Sold him, managed the isk from that sale upwards by a few billion over a couple days time, then bought this character. I made enough to keep me in ships for a while and not worry about losing them.

There are ways to come back from having nothing, that's one of the things that is so great about EVE.

you forget how eve works pretty fast.
there is litteraly billions of little things eve related you store in the cold windy place you call a brain.

did you actually expect everything to be as it was when you left?

3 years is a long time,people moved on.
just grind some isk and standing up in lowsec and rebuild yourself dude.

So... let me get this straight, OP has a sec status of -7 or so, no friends, got recruitment scammed by Goons(Grr™), got ganked, with all of his stuff onboard, on the undock in Jita and is being butthurt about it?

Not sure if serious, farcical or a Shakespearean play.
