Well we all know Goons is a CIA front.

As for the rest, I hope they did and I hope they got ganked HARD and ragequit shortly after.

Oh yeah, they know where you're hiding all your ISKies.

Heh.. sorting out "terrorist chatter" from normal EVE chat would be... painful

All kidding aside it would be interesting if the CIA would use a game like EvE online as a means to practice counter intelligence.

I agree, how would you tell the difference. Most people use lingo in EvE that would come across as standard chatter in a real life setting.

One the one hand, I can't see EVE mentioned anywhere.
On the other hand, they mention Auto Assault. Lol

So… omission or horrible research — take your pick.

Oh, and OP, would it really have been that hard to link to some actual content, or even the source document?

Yet another waste of taxpayer money.

Any terrorist group worth slightly more than dirt is going to be using the Open Sim software and setting up their own Second Life-like server where they can easily build and simulate entire city blocks and many other scenarios that will allow their buddies to train for whatever activities they have planned.

Gaining information about some terrorist attack by sitting around in WoW is about as probable as winning the lottery 3 times in row. My guess is that it has nothing to do with terrorism.

And wtf are they going to do in Eve? Sit in Jita and buy a unit of trit for 200mil?

Well, I do have an Avatar in High Orbit awaiting my orders to annihilate the planet's atmosphere.. now that they know about that, I guess I'll just have to head to Venus instead.

A noob was asking in Jita local for money to buy a new drake so I sent him some isk.

Afterwards he sent me a mail which said "Thank Allah for your kindness, in repayment I will now give you some advice make sure you stay far away from Birmingham for the foreseeable future".

I replied asking "why?"

He told me; "because it is ****".

It might be true, it might be false, but all I know is the huffington post is a terrible publication and will not get traffic from me.

In all seriousness, with the retarted Goon CIA rumour that was going on in the news last year, I like to believe that rival agencies at the very least tried to join Goonswarm to investigate the rumours.

And I like to think that they got recruitment scammed while doing so.

One of my colleagues placed a dirt bomb in our office toilet, just a few hours ago and I gotto say, HOLY ****! Never go to the office when you have digestion problems, that was just plain evil. (o_O)

One of my braver coworkers dared to enter "the wasteland" as we called it afterwards because he just wanted to check if anything could be done (in other words he was slightly insane)... Brave man... He'll live but I think the nighmares will haunt him for the rest of his days, he looked like he had faced death and all the other apocalyptic riders (well, except hunger) themselves and lived.

One man to stare down the smelly abyss and life. (︺︹︺)

Chinese markets remained calm when a local cyclist today stumbled and lost a sack of rice on his way to the store.

If I find a third thread were this fits I'll post in iambec pentameter.
